Terrible. Slooooww moving. Gave up reading after struggling through half of the book.

Loved it. Loved it, the setting, the dogs, the story and the humanity of Cutter.

Stone Crossing. This is the first time in years that a book has touched me and brought on tears. I recommend this novel to everyone who enjoys excitement, Alaska and really excellent novels!

Started slow. Started slow but picked up about half way through. Enjoy the characters and the story line.

Man Rules. This guy covers it all… bravery, sacrifice, honor, action, tradecraft, survival lore, political savvy, and more. I’m hooked, sad that these great writers can’t write as fast as we read!

Learned more about Arliss Cutter. Great continuation from the 1st book, all occurring in the wilds of Alaska bush country. Quite a sad ending but very appropriate for the story and the characters.

Just ok. I didn’t love this story quite as much as the last. In places I felt like it dragged a bit and I wish the villains side was more fleshed out

Bone-chilling. I am a huge fan of both outdoor books and heroes. This book is a wonderful combination of both.

Reliving history. Spent a year at a radar site in Akaka’s interior in the early 70s. Descriptions had me reliving those days.

No Way Out. Help!! Novel after novel I am stuck in dreary Alaska with a a dull boring Arliss Cutter. I will probably end it all on an ice floe.

Stone Cross. This book will keep you engaged with real characters. I’ve spent several winters in Alaska and I felt like I was there again. Wonderful!

Yes. It’s a good read, interesting and intriguing.

Fine action, characters, excess detail. Moving.. Very well written, fast-moving action scenes. Believable “different” characters - both women and men. Sometimes too many details stall forward movement of the story line. In the end, moving.

Adventure. This book keeps you glued to the pages. A great glimpse into the Alaskan bush and it’s citizens
