THIS BOOK!!!. THIS BOOK!!! This book is SO GOOD. Don't let the RomCom genre fool you; this book, though light and containing several laugh-out-loud moments, is SMOKING HOT. But I've come to expect this from Kylie, along with the "I can't put this down"-esque quality all of her books have...especially this one! Anna is my FAVORITE. Extremely likeable and honest (well, except for that one thing...), she is who she is and doesn't apologize for it. What I liked the most was that she said and did what she wanted to when it came to Gabriel. She gave him what he needed in some key moments, be it comfort, laughter, hope. Because of that, she and Gabriel established and grew a relationship that was built on way more than just lust. They had an actual friendship as well, which I LOVED reading. Like, I read this book in one day. It consumed me. This was a truly exceptional way to start a series...I seriously can't put into words how much I enjoyed this story!!!

Confused. The summary wasn’t clear enough. The females part of the summary was confusing and misleading. The confusing summary didn’t make me want to read the book. The author didn’t express themselves in the summary at all! The book was half-assed, very boring, confusing and basic.

Gabriel and Anna. Royal Catch was a very fun and entertaining story by the ever so talented Kylie Gilmore. I Love this authors style of writing she just has a great way with her words that keeps you hooked and turning the pages quickly. This is the first in her new series The Rourkes about Royals and who doesn’t love a great story with kings and queens, or prince and princesses. This is Gabriel and Anna’s story, he is the crown prince of Villroy and is expected to marry and have an heir, his mother decides to take matters into her own hands to help Gabriel find that suitable match by inviting some eligible princesses to Villory. Anna is filling in as her long lost relative who just so happens to be a princess. Let me just say this is where the real fun and excitement starts. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put this book down. The characters are so much fun and I couldn’t help but loving Gabriel and Anna. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this story was and I cannot wait for more. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and I absolutely loved and highly recommend this great book.

Funny!!. Omg!! What a great read. I actually laughed out loud. Loved Anna and Gabriel. Loved it…

Head hopping. Fair read easy to put down. Survivor meets get a rose. I don’t like books with multiple narrators. Pick a character and write from their voice. Jumping chapters via characters equals confusion. I will not continue series.

Review: The Rourkes 1: Royal Catch. Royal Catch by Kylie Gilmore is the first book in her new series, The Rourkes. Told in dual POV between the haughty prince and the imposter princess - this story is a tad over the top, the plot is a little crazy, the characters are a bit much and it all works perfectly together to create this funny romantic royal romp. Throw in some serious sexual tension and familial issues, a catty competition between princesses, and a few more fantastical situations and this book pulled me in. It was funny and sexy and a pleasure to read - I will definitely be revisiting The Rourkes for more of their stories. Enjoy!

Entertaining and funny. WOW! Love Kylie Gilmore new series of the Rourkes. The Royal Catch is an humorous entertaining story of the King and Queen of Villroy inviting princesses to castle to have them participate in a contest similar to Survivors and the Bachelor. They invite them to the castle under the guise of the princesses receiving a small inheritance but they are looking to find a royal wife for their son the heir to the throne, Prince Gabriel. Anna, a beautician from Tampa is pretending to be her cousin Princess Polly to claim Polly’s “inheritance”. Unbeknown to the Princess, Prince Gabriel will be their inheritance for the winner. The princess games were creative and funny. I throughly enjoyed reading the romantic interactions between Anna and Prince Gabriel throughout the Royal Catch and look forward to reading the next book in the series. I received this book as an arc for an honest review of it.

A sexy Cinderella story. This was such a fun and tastefully sexy story that I hated to finish it. The story was so outlandish and funny that I want to read the other books.

Royal Catch. I’m not usually a fan of royalty romance because it’s so far from the possibility of happening. This one though was a great giggle. Polly/Anna was so unprincesslike, and Gabriel so prince like, it was bound to be funny. Thanks for a good read

Gabriel and Anna. In this new series Gabriel, crown prince and total stuffed shirt, gets his world tilted sideways. He first has to deal with his brother's wild idea on how to revamp the economy (a furry wedding, with Aussie animal outfits, lol), then he finds out his parents have set up a reality TV style challenge to choose his bride. He is not prepared for Anna, who is totally wrong for him, not royal, not poised, but she is totally perfect for him. There is real chemistry between Gabriel and Anna, and there are lots of siblings to continue the series. This story is funny, sad and super steamy.

Royal catch. Magnificent

I loved this book. I love this book and couldn't put it down! I laughed so many times reading this book I'm giving it a solid 5 star review. I loved every moment Anna's adventures in this Survivor/The Bachelor game for Gabriel's hand in marriage. It was incredibly entertaining to hear how other princesses were acting unbecoming of a princess in their quest for the crown. Tough decisions will need to be made with Gabriel being bound by duty to the royal family and Anna trying to do the right thing for her family and trying to ensure Gabriel retains his rightful place as king.
