Love the Gray Man... do not love the new style. The title says it all. I downloaded the sample and instead of the efficient writing of the past -I’m given over to paragraphs of the GMs inner thoughts. It’s just not a style I can read. I don’t like it. It’s a sad way to finish up the series. Ugh.

One Minute Out. A little slow in the beginning and then it kicks off. Very tense and action packed.Suspense is also part of the plot.

Ugh. Contrived plot, stereotype characters.... And sloppy dialogue. “You must all be punished for what happened here” (man broke into their locked room). “Be quiet or I pant the walls with your blood”. Really? 🤦‍♂️ I usually enjoy this author, but starting with chapter 1 (where Gray Man seems to act like an amateur who runs solely on emotions) and jumping right in to the latest PC de jour this book ran downhill fast. full disclosure: I stopped at the halfway mark. Maybe it got better, but if I have to keep telling myself that HALF WAY thru the book then it’s too late for redemption.

As good as gold. Having first read reviews before I purchased this, I wasn’t sure what to expect given the negative reviews I had seen. I will admit that there was some trite dialog, but the story itself was, as usual, excellent. It picks up a huge topic, and problem, in the world today. Court is put into situation after situation that he has to get out of, mostly by the skin of his teeth. The plot moves quickly and seamlessly. If you are a Gray Man fan, you will enjoy!

Just Awesome. The books starts off a bit strange since, for the first time, Gentry’s storyline is told in the first person from Court’s perspective. At first it was odd, but then you fully appreciate Court’s point of view, what he is thinking, his insecurities, and why he is doing what he does. Great book, great story and very topical. Highly recommended.

Great Book. A very good story. It makes you think, about our world around us. I have heard a lot of stories about human trafficking.

Continued greatness. How this series continues to keep my attention I’m not sure- but it does, and I love it.

Another awesome Gray Man thriller. This is the first time we get to hear from the Gray man in the 1st person and it worked really well. I really hope Greaney continues in the next novel. This was one of his best and that’s saying a lot.

What might it be?. One Minute Out might have been much more: wicked social criticism and or military thriller? Only author Greaney will let us know in books to come

Tough subject. Really enjoyed this one but the subject of trafficking is sad and difficult. Well written with passion.

Very disappointed. Very disappointed in this book. I don’t understand why the author changed this to first person. Terrible read in the first person. Should have kept it in the third person as that’s much more interesting and exciting.

One minute out. Another 5 star book about the gray man. Mark Greaney is only one of a few authors that I have liked every book. When you want to read just another chapter- that is the definition of a good story. February seems to be the month for a gray man novel- will await 2021

Another Exciting, Entertaining Read. The Gray Man never fails to keep the pages turnin’ and burnin’ with anticipation. This is a well developed, well researched story. I have read one Gray Man book a week beginning June 28th. Onto #10 now.

Sex Trafficking at its Best. Good story line. A little too much drawn out but all is well that ends well, I guess. A couple of people do get killed. 😊😊

Breath taking. Didn’t expect the ending, was surprised but left hanging. Need the next book.

The self narrative is awful. Whoever thought that was a good idea should have the gray man sent after him. It’s a total drag to be back forth with it. If that continues in the next book, I’m done with this series. Wish I could get my money back.

Awful. Awful. The use of first person ruined hat has been a tremendous series. Hopefully it won’t continue that way.

Absolutely KickAss. That was your best. I love the first person Gray Man. I wish there was someone in real life like Court Gentry. That was a lump in the throat with the story line. Great work sir.

One Minute Out. Fast start to hook you then it drags a bit. Could have been 100 pages shorter.

Funny & intense. Well composed story with character. Gray man is intense & funny at the same time…sounds like true love to me. Action packed from start to finish. I feel like I’m home reading all his books. Wow! What does that say about “home”.

Better. This is good, very good, but it’s the weakest of Mark Greaney' nine Gray Man novels. Better author than Vince Flynn or his other ghost writers. Mark Greaney, if you’ve been paying attention, did ghost write one or two "Vince Flynn" books.

Slow but good. This isn’t the best but it’s very good.

First Person Disaster. Hated the first person narrative! I couldn’t finish this book. The story itself was also a struggle. I find spy/action more interesting when stopping national actors and terrorists. But sex trafficking while equally awful, just seems more reserved for Law and Order than Gray Man. Not for me.

Awesome. I love the Gray Man series. Hope we can get more books after #10. Lots of time and research to make them this good. Thank you.

I didn’t love the self narrator but from the Gray Man. But the plot and the ending kept my attn. I disliked the self narrative from Gentry.

My first Gray Man book. This is the first book I’ve read from Mark Greaney and I really enjoyed reading it. I haven’t read the other Gray Man books, but I for one like the 1st person dialogue approach and enjoyed every second of the story line.
