Bad Love. I actually didn’t like Logan’s immaturity and responsibility-phobic mindset in the beginning of this story. A spoiled, super handsome, rich, ex model, who never took anything seriously. Gambling with his friend Nellie who was equally frivolous and entitled, their last bet was bizarre and childish. Going as far as putting his grandmother’s business and legacy at risk as he made the bet to sell ten thousand vibrators from Nellie’s company within a short period of time or give up his shares in her company. Kendall’s strong efficient skills are used to help him with this frivolous bet. As their work relationship grew, so did their personal one. I was impressed with the way the author developed both of their characters with each interaction. Before long, I was totally rooting for this unique couple and their HEA. By the time Logan met and interacted with Rory, the storyline was already a five star for sweet entertainment value. Logan and Kendall had their relational stalls with fear of failure and personal insecurities, but it was never over dramatized or tiresome to read. Intense graphic scenes that had me believing that Logan finally grew up with Kendall’s influence, as Kendall gained trust in herself and others with Logan’s love. A great read! Fabulously sexy, fun and thoughtful romance. From the moment Kendall and Logan met, these two had a connection that was captivating. Logan seems like that self-assured guy with his charismatic personality and can-do attitude, but he often sells himself short. His family owns Hunters Cross and he works there but not doing the job he is supposed to. I was surprised by his lack of confidence in running the Marketing department but yet he has amazing ideas to push their product into the future. At his weekly poker game, he makes a reckless bet and now needs to sell 10000 vibrators in 3 months or lose his stake in the family business. Kendall is a very focused single mother that works hard to ensure her son has a great life. She also keeps a journal of activities she wants to do which pushes her out of her comfort zone. When her latest project ends up being helping Logan sell the vibrators, well, she is truly shocked. Logan truly pushes her out of her comfort which has her listening to “Bad Kendall” and embracing a part of herself that she has buried. Rory, Kendall’s son, is a beautiful light in this journey. His love of cooking is a wonderful thing and when Kendall realizes Logan truly sees her son for what he is passionate about, her walls to keep him out of her life truly begin to crumble. The real challenge is can Logan embrace responsibility and realize a relationship with Kendall is what he needs in his life. I enjoyed their journey and loved the layers that each character has with the issues they faced in their past that shaped who they were when they met. Even better is how they help each other reevaluate these areas to work towards something stronger.

Review: Modern Romance 2: Bad Love. Bad Love by Piper Lawson is the second standalone romance in her Modern Romance series. A story of romance least expected between Logan, the playboy heir and Kendall the single mother marketing guru that is assigned to help him win a bet that, if he loses, put's his family's legacy at risk. Well-written and well-paced this was a great story. The secondary characters were quirky and real. Rory was awesome - Bloody Hell - and I thoroughly enjoyed this. This is my first book by Piper Lawson but it won't be my last. Enjoy!

LOVE!!!!!! Such a good read. LOVED Logan and Kendall. I love Piper Lawson’s books and this one is no exception....steamy sexy times, whitty banter, and great story line. “Bad Kendall is out of the box, and she’s calling the shots—at least the ones where nakedness is involved.” Read it...right now. You’ll love it!

A bet, 10,000 vibrators, and a preacher’s kid - Come on, you’ve GOT to read it!!. Piper writes good stuff... and Bad Love is just her latest. Logan bets his share of the family company on pleasing 10,000 women - by selling 10,000 of his friend's company's vibrators. And he's counting on Kendall to help market them. That in itself promises a juicy story, right? Piper takes it further. There's not just chemistry, a bet and some vibrators - her writing brings these characters to life (Bad Kendall) and makes an insane situation realistic. She develops her characters so well, that you feel like you're a part of their friend group and experiencing the story first hand. I love her subtle glimpses back at characters from the first Modern Romance book. (You don't feel left out if you haven't read it... but do yourself a favor and go read it!!) The secondary characters bring this story even more depth and meaning. Rory melts my heart as the kid that doesn't fit inside the box. *ARC provided for honest review

Must read. Piper does it again! This book is amazing. The chemistry between Kendall and Hunter is off the charts! This book has you go though every emotion all the way to the end! One of my new favorite books. Definitely a must read and I promise you will not be disappointed!

Second half is fantastic!. This is book two in the Modern Romance series and it features Kendall and Logan. He makes an irresponsible bet with a friend and needs her help before he loses controlling shares in his grandmother’s company. For me, this book didn’t get really interesting until after the halfway point. His and Kendall’s chemistry was explosive and extremely sexy. I love that he really got who Rory was. That was important! The first half of the story was full of unnecessary filler story. The second half of the story was fantastic! Logan’s character growth was impressive throughout the last half of the book, even though there were one or two disappointing moments. Mature Logan is much sexier! The friendship between Logan and Monty was touching. Nellie, I could’ve done without but I’m sure everyone’s got one of those friends.

Enjoyed. I enjoyed every turn of this book. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly from beginning to the end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

4stars. This was such an excellent read. I love Logan and Kendall together. The scene with them in the meeting room and Kendall taking out the “merchandise” was EPIC! There were other moments that were just as wonderful. I also loved that we get to see Wes and Rena.

Dumbfounded!!. Hmm, a book about a bet with sex toys, who could conjure up such an interest and wonderful story based on that? This author that’s who! Great storyline that wraps everything with a nice little bow. You have a hunky sexy ex-male model, a Pastor’s divorced daughter, great friends, cute kid and vibrators. It’s a heart warming, sexy, hot story with a happily ever after. You will definitely not be disappointed!
