A must read!. 4.5 Tell me something real stars. Another great read by Corinne Michaels you won’t be able to put down. Derek and Teagan’s connection draws you in from the beginning and their journey hold you until the end. Their best friends/second chance storyline is full of angst and learning to forgive. A must read.

I enjoyed it!. 3.5 stars All I Ask is Corinne Michaels latest standalone novel and her first as a traditionally published author through Forever Romance. This story is an emotional best friends-to enemies-to lovers and second chance romance. We're in Chincoteague Island, Virgina, a tiny coastal town with seasonal visitors and plenty of locals that get into everyones business. Teagan is a single mother to a thirteen-year-old girl and lives above her parents antique store that she also manages. Derek is a newly widowed father back in town to help his ailing father at his veterinary practice. Teagan and Derek's relationship is volatile. They were high school best friends that always had feelings for each other but never let the other know about it. Teagan's relationship with her then boyfriend made Derek's decision to marry someone else the put the nail in their proverbial coffin. "Tell me something real." I enjoyed Derek's character very much. He's learning the ropes as a single father, and dealing with the death of his wife. While their relationship wasn't perfect, I felt that her character was villainized a bit too much. Teagan was very hit or miss for me. She was a woe-is-me type of character and that kind of grated on me. She plays the victim very well but they both made decisions that molded the thirteen years they were apart. "I've waited a very long time for you, even when I didn't know what I was doing. While this wasn't a supreme read for me, I did still enjoy it. Teagan and Derek's growth as characters separately, parents, and a couple was great to read. Corinne still remains a top auto-buy author for me but All I Ask didn't hit all the marks like her past stories.

Loved it!. Title: All I Ask Author: Corinne Michaels Series: Stand-alone Rating: 5 stars All I Ask was an absolutely beautiful story. It is about heartbreak, loss, forgiveness, and second chances. I know without a doubt every single time I pick up a book from Ms. Michaels, I will be so swept up in her words that I’ll never want to come back out. All I Ask was no different. Teagan and Derek were incredible characters-both so different yet underneath it all they wanted the same things. Teagan was the ‘it girl’ in high school whereas Derek was a ‘nerd’. But despite their differences they were best friends. But as life begins to change for the both of them, they go their separate ways. Now, thirteen years later they may finally have their chance for their HEA. “Marry the girl who you’d cry over if you forgot her. Marry the girl who even when your brain can’t remember, your heart does.” This book was EVERYTHING! The entire feel of the story was amazing. I adored both Teagan and Derek and their chemistry was undeniable. I highly recommend reading this book!

All I Ask is everyone read this book!!. All I Ask by Corinne Michaels is a story about Teagan and Derek. Unlikely best friends from childhood who meet up again as adults. This story was heartbreaking at times but makes you believe in the “what if’s” in fate. When you think your life will go one way but actually turns out completely different then you imagined. Corinne Michaels never fails at pulling all these different emotions as you experience all the characters feel. Amazing reading!!

Just loved it! A must-read!. I am a huge fan of Corinne Michaels and read everything she writes and I have from the time she started writing. And books like All I Ask are the reason why. It was absolutely amazing and I loved it. A story about second chances, new beginnings and was angst-filled and emotional. I just devoured it. Teagan and Derek are both starting over as single parents. Their journey was a roller coaster of a ride and I was completely captivated by the story and the characters from start to finish. We see Teagan and Derek both in the present and past as we follow their journey. Teagan and Derek became the best of friends while in high school. They were everything to each other and when feelings started to blur, neither was honest and instead went down very different paths. Now both are single parents and Derek is back in town. But life is never easy. I loved both characters so much. Their story was honest, real, heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once. This is a must-read for sure! Loved it! Happy reading!

Couldn’t put it down!. I went to read the sample and was already hooked! I had to know what happened with Teagen and Derek. Stayed up till 3am and read the whole day to see how this story played out! Loved it so much 💙

One of my favorite 2020 reads so far!!!. This is by far one of my favorite reads of 2020! As usual, Corinne Michaels skillfully extracts all the emotions from me leaving me breathless, but she always manages to leave my heart so full of joy and satisfaction by the end. I love Derek and Teagan and their incredible second chance to get it right. Although it's really their first chance as a couple since they were just best friends back in school since neither of them owned up to their feelings. This led to years of heartache and pain for both of them but it seems even more so for Teagan. I love the back and forth from past to present as it helps to understand these characters so much better. But in the present, Derek makes me totally swoon with his beautiful words and it's no wonder despite her fears of being ruined by him, Teagan is powerless to resist him. I really can't express any more how much I loved this book!!!

Beautiful second chance romance.. 5 Beautiful Stars Teagan and Derek have been best friends since high school, until suddenly they weren’t. Both secretly had feelings for the other, but both too scared to say anything. Now, thirteen years later, they are brought back together again when Derek and his daughter move back to his hometown. I absolutely adored the relationship between Teagan and her daughter, Chastity. All I Ask is the epitome of second chance romances and I loved every single page. Corinne Michaels has completely outdone herself with this heartbreakingly beautiful story of two people who overcome so many obstacles to find their love for each other still burns as strong as it always has. Amazing!!. All I Ask I love a great Second chance love story and this Story definitely didn’t disappoint!! Being in love with your best friend without him knowing... watching said best friend marry another while pregnant with another’s baby... Heartbreak central... Teagan and Derek had a friendship that started late in high school.. a friendship the two never expected.. Teagan the popular rah-rah girl with the quarterback boyfriend and Derek the boy who didn’t care to be part of that circle.. they had a friendship that they thought was unbreakable.. only feelings were deeper than that.. Unspoken feelings, secrets kept hidden and an unexpected change in their friendship put years of distance between them. When the two see each other again.. It’s just wow and amazement... Such a great second chance story that will keep you on the edge!

Can you say holy heartbreak?. Teagan...ugh! My heart broke so many times while I was reading All I Ask. We all picture our lives are going to turn out a certain way when we are younger..we never expect the reality of what does become of our life. That is where Teagan is; however, she is one strong and determined woman/mom! Derek....oh Derek.....when your dreams become a reality to you, time stands still... Also, I wanted to b^itch slap a few "people"!!!! GRRRR!

Feels and feels!!! ❤️❤️❤️. So, this was quite the heartfelt, and at times heartbreaking, second chance romance. There are times when she (and by she I mean the queen Corinne Michaels) hits you with her witticisms, especially between Teagan and Chastity, who you will LOVE ❤️. Then she can turn around and make you feel the heartbreak, that Teagan has felt, that Teagan & Derek have felt and been through, that Everly and Chastity are going through, though different, still beats your emotions up. There are so many emotions throughout, so many gripping parts to this story, and you’ll completely be immersed in all of it. I loved them all (well, not all. And you’ll know who’s not worthy when you read), and felt totally emotionally invested. Teagan is amazingly strong and brave and gave those traits to her equally amazing daughter Chastity. And Derek is swoon worthy and trying so hard with his daughter Everly, who has a lot to get through. It’s real life and it hits you in the feels! All of them!! I don’t want to tell you anything more so as not to give anything away. Just know you’ll love this story, you’ll love these characters, you’ll just love it all!!! ❤️❤️❤️

All I Ask. First time reading this author. I selected the book for the ratings. I’m afraid I didn’t enjoy it as much as the others seemed to. The story went on much longer than I felt it needed to.

Second Chance Swoon. 4.5* This second chance romance of a mature couple with real life baggage will pull on your heartstrings. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey this seasoned couple, Teagan and Derek, tackled. Across the miles and spanning the years, their feelings for each other may have been tainted but never died. When circumstances bring them in close proximity, the pull between them is undeniable.

So good!. Loved this book. Gah. So many emotions. Corinne Michaels, as per usual, will put you through the wringer. And it's glorious! LOL! Derek and Teagan are best friends. Until they're not. There's a decade plus of hurt and animosity between them. So when they're thrown back together under tragic circumstances, they have to fight to find balance between their past selves and who they are now. It's a story of hope and forgiveness and finding your path in life, even if it's not what you expected. I've yet to read a book from Corinne Michaels that I didn't love, and this one is no exception. It's a fantastic read and I'd highly recommend it.

Love love this book. I loved this book. It captured my heart and shredded it mended it all at the same time. Derek and Teagan have an unbreakable bond, even though there is a lifetime of hurt and animosity. Life happens, and when teenagers are involved, it can throw your life and choices in a tailspin. You are willing them and wanting them to make the most acceptable choices, and sitting on pins and needles for the outcome. I truly did love this book, and I can wait until it is released on audible. I voluntarily reviewed this book from the author.

Derek and Teagan are EVERYTHING!. This is my top read of 2020 without a doubt nothing can top this!! Corinne captivates you with this stunning love story between two people that are to afraid to admit it to each other how they feel when they are young. Years later they are brought back together in the same small town where is all started. Both now singles parents, they gravitate to each other, trying to fight it nothing can stop them. The story of Derek and Teagan will leave you not wanting it to end. This is such a beautiful, emotional story that will melt your heart. You will fall in love with Derek and Teagan!! Corinne Michaels absolutely ruined me with this book, simply AMAZING!

Loved!!!!!!. I loved this book. I loved the got to see part of Teagen and Derek’s back story. I wish we could have seen a more their future. I was nice to see Chasity and Everly finally come together a friends. As with all of Corinne’s book this book awesome. You never lose interest.

Loved!. I have loved everything this author has ever written and this one is definitely my new favorite. If you love second chance romances, this is a great book for you! Teagan and Derek’s love story is amazing and this story gave me a Gilmore Girls feel, especially with the relationship between Teagan and her daughter. The scenes between them were some of my absolute favorites. There’s also some angst, because, hello? It is, Corinne. But there’s also great humor and romance!

Love lost. I love lost love stories. I love when two people share a past that is only shared by them. New people come and go, hearts break and mend but the lost love relationship is forever. This is the story of Teagan and Derek. Two people who were so different in their early life, they never should have met, much less become best friends. Then life happened, like it does for all of us. Misunderstandings, miscommunications, the “should haves” and “would haves” all get in the way. But when life has that funny way of turning back time, in a way only fate can do, you sometimes get a second chance. And Derek is determined no one and nothing is going to get in the way. Heart wrenching story but always a HEA.

So good!. I love second chance romances and friends to lovers. When I started reading All I Ask by Corinne Michaels and realized it was both, I was very happy. This story grabbed me and kept me glued as the story unraveled. Teagan is a single mom, has an ex-boyfriend or left her and her unborn child, was in love with her best friend and trying to please everyone else. Derek recently lost his wife and moves back to the small town where he grew up. Teagan and Derek were best friends but that was years ago. All I Ask tells the story of forgiveness, friendship, sacrifice and love. There are flashbacks to their teenage years, moments in the present and the craziness of their teenage daughters. Can these once best friends admit their true feelings and find their happily ever after? I just loved these characters, Corinne's writing and the story. This is a must read, happy story!

A beautiful journey!. An emotional ride through friendship, love, loss, mistakes, and being a single parent. Teagan and Derek made me want to scream at times but ultimately I loved them and their journey. We all make choices that we think are right at the time even when other people can't see it. The absolute truest form of love is expressed in the selfless decisions these two make regarding each other even though it causes massive amounts of hurt to themselves. They deserved their HEA!!!!

They were meant to be!!. 4.5 Stars!!! All I Ask is a beautifully written story about a second chance romance between Derek Hartz and Teagan. Teagan Derek were best friends throughout high school and college, but Derek and Teagan each held deeply secret feelings for the other, which neither admitted nor acted upon. And then Derek married Meghan, and things changed, and the change occurred at time when Teagan truly needed Derek. Now, due to unexpected circumstances Teagan and Derek have been thrust back into each other's lives, and this is when the story truly begins to unfold, and takes us on a beautiful journey of pain shedding, love, broken and mended hearts, true communication, and romance. Derek and Teagan are each other's perfect match. Although I will say that in the beginning, Teagan, despite me understanding her hurt and pain at the lack of communication between her and Derek when she needed him the most...when she gave birth to her daughter, she drove me a little crazy because I felt like she was asking Derek to chose her over his wife, and that was not something that he could do. And I will admit that it bothered me the way it was revealed that Derek harbored feelings for Teagan, and it made me side-eye him for a bit. However, these two were truly meant to be together, and they truly loved each other beyond time, space and distance. If we all could have a love like theirs. All I Ask is one of Corinne Michaels most beautifully told stories. It is a story of strength, redemption, forgiveness, comeuppance, love, and parenthood. It is simply perfect.

Teagan and Derek’s second chance tugs at the heartstrings!. The single parent trope has become one of my new favorites to read, and we get not one, but two single parents in this book. Teagan and Derek were the very best of friends in high and college. They promised to always be there for each other, and even though they were "just friends" they had a bond that everyone could see was beyond special. But circumstances and situations pulls them apart, and it's been thirteen years since they've spoken. Now, Derek is back in their little hometown, and it's his chance to make things right with Teagan. Whether she allows him back into her life after what he did all those years ago is another story. Add in the fact that they each have a teenage daughter they have to think about, and the path to forgiveness and redemption is a long and bumpy one. As usual, Corinne is the queen of ripping the heart right out of your chest. Teagan has been through SO much in her life. She hasn't had it easy at all, and she's basically just doing the best she can to raise her daughter right and make a life for the two of them. It doesn't help that Derek is back, making her realize all the feelings she tried to bury all those years ago are still very much alive. There were so many missed opportunities when these two were younger, things that would have been so very different had they just expressed how they felt about each other. But they were young and scared to admit to the other how they felt, for fear it would ruin their friendship. It is the classic case of "had I known then what I know now" everything could have been dramatically different. I admit it took a minute for me to warm up to Derek. I didn't agree with the choices he made all those years ago, and to read all that Teagan went through on her own just broke my heart. Then for him to come back to town and see that his daughter has immediately started to bully Teagan's daughter had me fuming. But he grew on me as the book progressed, and I loved seeing all the effort he went to in order to win Teagan back. He was patient with her and supported her 100% which is something she has never had. This story was so full of feels! I'm pretty sure Corinne laughs a maniacal laugh while she's writing, knowing how she's shredding reader's hearts left and right. She makes us work for that happy ending, which ultimately we get. But boy, it's a rough road getting there! That's what makes her books so much fun to read though, it's like running an obstacle course of emotions! If you're a long time reader of Corinne's books, you'll squeal with delight at the mention of a beloved character, at least I did!! Another amazing read!

Obsessed from page 1. Brand new stand alone from Corinne Michaels did not disappoint. Loved Teagan and Derek’s story. I felt the heartbreak all those years ago with Teagan having to stand and watch her best friend marry the girl that wasn’t her. “There was the man I wanted to marry, marrying someone else. I couldn’t do or say anything. I was trapped, watching it, pretending my tears weren’t because my heart was being torn from my body.” Their story of coming back together plus two teenagers in tow, hand me completely in knots. But I seriously could not put this book down. The dynamic from a single mom raising a teenage daughter was so in tune. Without a doubt, this is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ that I will be rereading!
