Absolutely blown away. 5 stars for - Feast of Sparks - book two in the Thornchapel series by Sierra Simone. Book one - Lesson In Thorns - must be read prior to reading this as the storyline is one continuous arc. This book contains sex of all different varieties including MM / FF / group and even BDSM too so please go in with an open mind and prepare to have it blown away! FOS picks up right after the ending in book one and will hold you captive until the final page. Sierra has been totally transparent with the fact that all but the final book will end in cliffhangers so prepare yourself for one heck of a hangover with this one. This story literally has everything sexy and sinful you never thought to ask for all rolled into one. With so many feels between all the characters that send you reeling. Seriously don’t know where this is all going but can’t wait to see where Sierra takes us next!

Great second installment!!. Picks up where Bride of Thorns stops. The friends are getting ready to celebrate Beltane. As more details about the death of Poe’s mother come to light, she needs to reconcile her feelings. This series is amazingly written. Super spicy and gripping. I love how each installment wraps up nicely yet still leaves plenty of loose ends for the next installment. You learn more about Auden and Saint’s backstory. Can’t wait for the next book.

What a crazy second book. I thought I knew what to expect. I’ve read other series by Sierra. I read the first book. My heart broke over and over in this book. I was so sad and so happy so many times. Sierra gives you something only to yank it away. I can’t wait for the next book.

Loved this book! Stamy and hot!. You can never go wrong with a book written by Sierra Simone and I am loving the Thornchapel series so much! In Feast of Sparks, the second book in the series, you will be consumed, 100% consumed with this story and the characters so much. I could not put this book down once I started it. The characters owned me from the first words to the very last. We begin to learn more about Saint, Proserpina (Poe) and Auden and more of their history as they take more of center stage in this one. We do pick up where we left off in A Lessons in Thorns, which must be read first, and continue the wild and erotic ride with these characters. And that ending! 4.5 Stars. Feast of Sparks is the second book in the Thornchappel series. As with all of Ms. Simone’s characters, they are complicated. This book is no different. The story continues with the five friends and their relationship to each other. There is a lot going on, mysteries, many questions with no answers, and many ancient rituals and beliefs. I keep expecting a spirit or two to pop up at any time. The story is not a light and easy reading but it’s so worth it. As with the first book, this story ends in a cliffhanger which had me thinking, AY CARAMBA!

Masterful storytelling. Feast Of Sparks is so riveting and powerful while also being mystical and erotic. St. Sebastian,Poe and Auden are captivating and complex characters, the plot is exhilarating and evocative with a intriguing mystery. You can’t help but fall in love with all six of these fantastic characters and this is a story unlike anything I’ve read! Sierra Simone has a indescribable ability to write such beautiful thought provoking stories.

Beautiful. Such a beautiful story… and at the end, I am crying for Saint.
