My emotions were collateral!. This book was intriguing and intense from the beginning, and I was an engaged reader the whole time wondering what was going to happen next. Gabriela is a fighter, and I loved that about her. She is younger at 18-19, so at times she could she could act out without thinking. My heart broke for her several times though, and I can’t say anything more than that without spoiling the book. Stefan is definitely commanding and older than Gabriela, and I was very intrigued by him. He has reasons for doing what he is doing, and I also felt for him at certain times. Gabriela and Stefan are a slow burn, and they have smoldering chemistry! There are still a lot of questions to be answered, and after that cliffhanger I cannot wait to get my hands on the second book of this duet! I received a copy of this ebook from the author for my honest review.

Your next guilty pleasure!. I love a good arranged marriage book, throw in mafia ties and I’m in heaven!! Sinfully sexy! I loved this book and loved Stefan and Gabriela. Revenge is a dangerous game with many casualties and unfortunately Gabriela is one of them. Stefan has had a rough life and the hits just keep coming. Gabriela is at her father’s mercy and she has kept a secret from him that she had met Stefan before. Her father is a cruel man and she must do as he says. There are twists and turns and a cliffhanger. The book sucked me in from the beginning and has left me wanting more!

Awesome. I can’t wait for the next book!

A real page turner. I was looking for a couple with chemistry and they have it! On edge the whole time!

Guilty Pleasure. Interesting story line that never falters. The reader cares about the characters. Looking forward to the next book and a conclusion to the story. Could have been one book instead of two.

Extremely entertaining!. An amazing story, I just devoured it! This is a fighting mafia family’s story. The King Pin from one family, Stefan Sabbioni is out for revenge on Gabriel Marchese, a rival family who had done him wrong. And his daughter Gabriela becomes the pawn as Stefan takes her as payment to wed. A thrilling story, it’s a slow progress to a very intense relationship. I loved it and can’t wait for more!!!!

Stefan and Gabriela have such incredible chemistry, like off-the-charts kind of chemistry...even IF this "arraigned" marriage (more like Stefan is trying to destroy Gabriela's father, Gabriel) is the LAST thing that Gabriela wants she still feels the magnetic pull to Stefan, who holds her future (and her heart?) in his hands. I fell soooooo hard and soooooo fast for the ALpha and swoon-inducing Stefan and Gabriela is so perfectly feisty and somehow innocent, despite growing up with a cold-hearted and despicable father...she captured my heart and my imagination! I feel like there is so much MORE to this story that has yet to be told! I devoured this first book in this duet and I can't WAIT to see what happens in the conclusion!!! Thankfully it won't be a long wait because Damage will be here in a few short weeks! Will Stefan and Gabriela overcome the legacy of murder, death and destruction that is their birthright and find their HEA? Stay tuned to find out!!!

Great Dark Romance!. This is the first book in the Collateral Damage Duet. This dark romance, and mafia romance, is well written, and captivating. Stefan and Gabriela are great characters. Stefan is a powerful man, mysterious, possessive, and protective. Gabriela is a strong young woman, a little naive. The secondary characters are intriguing and great. The story is fast-paced, action packed, and filled with intrigue, mystery, twists and turns, and danger. Impossible to put it down. The story ends with a big cliffhanger. Now, I can't wait for the next and last book, Damage.
