SO GOOD. This book was EVERYTHING!! I have been in this weird reading funk for so long. This book really got me out of it! I could NOT wait until the next moment I could read, I even stayed up later two nights. I'm not sure I can say enough about it! I LOVE Fiona! I don't think we got the full experience of who she was in the last few books, but we got to see a little more of her spiritual side in Perky. I was super curious where that would lead us. I had NO idea this book would start out exactly where we were left at the end of Perky, but boy am I glad we did! Seeing Fiona as "Feisty" in the beginning of this book WAS SO EPIC!!! I cannot explain how excited I was at Fiona going up against Mattie's dad!!! It was so amazing. Seeing Fiona be one with herself and use her energy the way she did was mesmerizing, I couldn't put the book down! Now, of course, we cannot forget about Chris in this moment!!!! I LOVED how he instantly went to help Fiona and Mattie. His instinct with Mattie was so adorable and then the level of care he had for Fiona was equally adorable. This was such a pivotal moment for these two. Fiona HATED Chris so much before this, and this really made her look at him as someone else. There was so much that Chris didn't know about Fiona and so much that Fiona didn't know about Chris. AND there was a lot that Fiona needed to learn about herself. That being said, holy guacamole, did these two have some INTENSE chemistry! I LOVED the sparks between these two every time we saw them. I also loved how intense their feelings were, even if she was ignoring hers. He as so sweet and caring to her. Add in friends who are trying to help defend you but also tell you to change, it made for an interesting time. And we can't have one of these books with SO much hysterics!! I died laughing throughout this entire book! Between the festival, the wedding meetings and the in betweens,I was constantly laughing. Mallory and Perky are the best friends, add in Will and some other characters and it just made for a party in book form!!! I CANNOT wait to see what's next and I'm dying to find out more about what happened in the epilogue!!

Unexpexted. As FEISTY is the third book in this series, a certain tone has been set. To say that FEISTY is a bit different then that tone, at least in the beginning, would be an understatement of major proportions. The opening chapter is about Fiona’s daycare classroom and students. Suddenly, a parent who has an order of protection against him shows up to attempt to steal his son, by force if needed. Fiona, in all her Feisty strength, protects her students and classrooms aides...but knowing that doesn’t quite cut the emotional blow. The book has some laugh out loud funny moments, but not truly enough to ease from the emotional roller coaster it takes you on. I don’t know the last time I left a book with a book hangover this strong. It was definitely unexpected and I feel like I would have wanted to know in advance that it is a more emotionally charged book than the other two were.

So much fun, don’t miss this one.. This series is so much fun. This book is no exception and so far is my favorite. Chakras, vibrations and bears, oh, my! Feisty and Fletch find their way to each other, in-spite of taco ratios. Have a good time with this read. No need to read the previous books, but they would add to the story. Top of your TBR list.

More Than Feisty. It’s Feisty and Fletch’s turn. When a horrifying event takes place at the preschool where Fiona works, it’s Feisty who saves the kids and the day and then Fletch who in turn comes to her aid. This is the catalyst for some deep changes for Fiona. Will she be able to reconcile her Feisty past with her present and will she be able to see Fletch for who he is today or keep seeing him as her teenage nemesis and the bestower of her hated nickname? It’s a tremendous inner journey that she makes and sometimes hysterically funny aided by her besties Mal and Perky. You don’t want to say goodbye to this bunch!

Snarky and Entertaining!. Love this series!! An absolute favorite. Feisty is super fun, laugh out loud funny, snarky and entertaining. Feisty lives up to her nickname, protects her young charges at her preschool school, ends up getting more than just media attention. “Want a sparkling water? A coffee? Cookies? A half gallon of vodka?” “You're getting closer.” Chris “Fletch” Fletcher dubbed Fiona “Feisty” after she drop kicked him in seventh grade and she is still holding a grudge. Fletch holds no grudge but he wants to be holding Feisty. He will have to work hard to get past her defenses. This story is part of The Do-Over series and has interconnected characters with Fluffy and Perky but all of them could be read as standalones. -4.5 Stars!!-

So Feisty!. Julia Kent has a huge talent for creating worlds and groups of friends that I just love and want to be a part of. This group, just like the ones from the Billionaire and Random series, is totally wild and hilarious. Fiona shows how feisty she really is in the very first chapter when she takes down a guy trying to take one of her preschoolers. Her relationship with Fletch has been so tumultuous over the years. I love a good enemies to lovers romance because the tension is usually explosive and the banter is usually off the charts. Fiona and Chris had all that and more. These two are my favorites of the whole series. This book totally hit me in all the feels. The emotion is balanced with laugh out loud moments. I was hooked from the beginning and never wanted it to end.

What a storyline!. What a storyline! The beginning of this book had me on the edge of my seat! When a disgruntled parent comes to Fiona’s preschool and she becomes the hero to the entire town, she feels it’s another thing to add onto what she’s known for and can never live down. Chris has had a crush on Fiona for years, ever since she taught him the true meaning of no, and when the situation at the preschool brings him back into her life, he decides to shoot his shot with her and act on his feelings. Reluctant at first, eventually Fiona comes around and they end up learning a lot about each other in addition to a relationship together. Overall, I loved the storyline, but the action in the beginning didn’t necessarily trickle through the rest of the book. I wish there would have been more suspense or action especially after the beginning, but nonetheless I really enjoyed Chris and Fiona finding their relationship with some funny parts in the story along the way. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Love this series!!. First off, I have gotta say, I would love to live in the mind of Julia Kent...or at the very least take a look at her Google search while she is writing!  The knowledge she drops along with the hilarity is absolutely out of this world! Oh I was so excited to finally read Fiona's (Fiesty) story! Now you can definitely read each of the stories in this series as a stand-alone, but don't do that! Get your hands on all of them and read them, you will enjoy them all the more! I was amazed and moved by Fiona, I admired how she was trying to break free from the Fiesty nickname and embrace a more softer side.  But when needed and faced with a horrific situation, her inner Fiesty roared free, kicked butt and took names! I empathized with her inner struggle to merge the two distinct yet vastly different personalities and she did so beautifully! Fletch was a hero of epic proportions.  He not only is a first responder, but he embraces all the personalities of Fiona.  He is there when she needs him and gives her space when she doesn't.  I love how he was taught the meaning of the word "consent" and how it molded him to the man he became. If you are looking for hilarity, heat and most of all heart, get your hands on this story, you won't be sorry!

A Feisty little book.. After what felt like a long wait, the third book in Julia Kent’s newest series of connected standalones has finally arrived. This is Fiona Gaskill and Chris Fletcher’s story. Feisty and Fletch to those who know them best. Especially themselves. Chris adorned Fiona with hers after she let fly with hands and feet when he tried to kiss her in 7th grade. Fiona was having none of that and taught Fletch a lesson he’d never forget. Pity it ended with her getting a stupid nickname. She hated it then and still does 17 years later. Fletcher isn’t in her graces either, but times are about to change. Oh, yes they are! All Fletch wanted way back when was a kiss. A simple kiss and what did he get for his trouble. A black eye. And a kick up the backside. Still, it didn’t stop his crushing on that Feisty girl and he’s still carrying that torch today. This was a sweet and sexy story, with a touch of vulnerability and seriousness to it. I enjoy rom/coms and I adore Julia’s writing, so what’s not to love. This book, although a standalone is set in the same timeline as Fluffy and Perky, and has characters from those two books as Fiona is friends with both their main heroines. These three women are as close as sisters and it’s through Mallory and Perky that Fiona comes to re-assess her attitude to life. Will that assessment include forgiving Fletch, and giving him a chance to get back in her good graces? I loved every heart-warming minute of this book and thoroughly recommend it to old and new fans alike. Now, we just have to wait for book 4 and Hasty to make her appearance.

Funny!. Hilarious book, read it too quickly because I was laughing out loud and wanted to see where it was going. So glad I chose this to read, it kept me entertained all afternoon. Very real, I absolutely loved it.

Hooked from start to finish!. When a book hooks you from the start you just know its going to be great and so didn’t disappoint at all! It was very unique and definitely my kind of story! Feisty is so wonderfully feisty and the story was rather entertaining and real fun! Fiona aka Feisty is just that and then some! She is sassy, fierce, smart and just the whole package! As a child care educator, her ability to protect those children under her is nothing of exemplary! She goes above and beyond and yes the start is heart stopping but draws you into the book! Ms Kent has woven her magic fingers and written an oscar worthy book! I just loved the banter and Fiona’s friends and everyone close to her! She has known Chris aka Fletch since forever and all of a sudden, after an experience that shows her life is short, she sees him in a new way! I absolutely love love loved this book so much! I laughed so much, I even shed some tears and thought this was the most amazing book and a brilliant addition to this fantastic series!

Great book. Fletcher and Fiona story is great. A ennemi from the past to lovers . Passion, friendship and forgiveness all mixed up. Always with a good dose of laughter .

So many emotions!. I devoured this book so fast! Loved every moment reading this. The characters are perfect, real, funny, gripping. This book had me on the edge of my seat needing to keep reading to find out what happens next, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series. This book made me cry, laugh out loud, quote parts to my husband, I even snorted a couple of times and I don’t usually snort. Julia is by far my favourite author and I truly love all her books and this one is no exception.

I loved this book. I loved this book, but I’m not sure I can exactly put into words why I did. I know I should have expected it, it’s Fiona after all, but this story is a lot more… esoteric… than I was prepared for. There’s a lot of fascinating, obscure, deep thoughts that have gone into this book. And, I think some of those very deep thoughts kept the story from being as light and, dare I say it? “fluffy”? as I was thinking I was going to get. Chris is adorable. He’s probably just about as perfect as book boyfriends get. He was sweet, charming, caring, protective, and perfectly able to apologize for the wrong he’d done to her all those years ago. Now, seeing the lead up for the next book in the series, I’m dying to see how the author is going to make us love a character we’ve spent the last three books actively disliking.
