Disappointed. I made it half way through and had to stop. Too much and too many spankings both for punishment and pleasure for my liking.

Good book. Great story that combined a historical romance with lots of sexy scenes and enough suspense and emotions to keep you interested. The characters are well done and make you care what happens to them as well.

Phillip’s Rules. Fantastic read! Steamy scenes that are fun and titillating. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!

Good read. At first I wasn’t sure if I would like reading about spanking and disciplining a wife. I think that’s because I would be that wife if I lived back then, because I can’t keep my mouth shut. That being said if you don’t mind reading this kind of stuff then this book series is for you. I loved the story, the men are very protective of their wife’s and they love them. This is a great story.

Philips Rules. Everyone wants to be loved and in this case Stepmother and Stepdaughter had no real affection or guidance in their previous relationship. Philip brought out the best of them with firm guidance. Who knew.....Philip could save them both.....April H, FL

Phillips rules. I thought the book was very good. It kept me interested. Although I could figure out some of the parts before they happened. But all in all it’s a very good book.

Happy surprise.. I hoped to like this book. I got it for free so you never know. Now I’m doing a happy dance because I found a new author to read.

Great read and story. It was really nice to read this historical romance, specially because it wasn't that long with pointless paragraphs. I always like a character development without being exhausting and of course the good amount of hot naughtiness :)

Not suitable reading in this day and age. This book made me feel uncomfortable, I know its only fiction but for an author to think its acceptable to be cruel to women is surprising. It is not kinky or BDSM it is spiteful and unpleasant. Sorry cannot recommend.

Phillips rules .. Didn’t think period books were my thing . The customs and mired of the day are just so different in this age . But it was a great story .

Over the top. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a bit of fifty shades but this was just downright brutality. It came across more like domestic violence than sexual domination. Wouldn’t recommend reading it if you’ve been involved in dv.
