Disappointed. Honestly I’m not gonna lie I didn’t like this book at all. I didn’t like how they started it with the incident from Hunter & Lennon’s book then went back in time to show how it happened instead of developing Sophie & Masons story a different way. It was like too much trauma & tragedy too soon & just as Sophie & Mason got over that hurdle another 1 came not to mention this book deals with abuse. I didn’t get much romance from this one so I’m very disappointed. It dragged on longer than it needed to & it was repetitive. Also like all of the series & Duets it ends on a cliffhanger. I am going to read the other one just to see how it turns out but I would recommend skipping it if you’re hoping for a steamy romance or hate to love story like the previous books. If abuse wether it’s emotional or physical, suicide or anything like will trigger you DO NOT READ THIS BOOK.

Review: Mason & Sophie Duet 1: Truly Mine. Truly Mine: Mason & Sophie, #1 by Kennedy Fox is the third book in their Roommate Duet series and the first book in the duet of Mason & Sophie. Somewhat of a second chance romance, friends to lovers, unrequited love story. The relationship between Mason and Sophie has been complicated from the outset. We see some of their back and forth in the first two books in the series but with their relationship being the focus here we finally get their backstory. To say their romance is complicated is an understatement and this ends on one wicked cliffhanger. From their first night together before they knew who they were going to be to each other and how their lives were going to be intertwined to the escape from abuse that Sophie endures at the hands of another man and the ultimate terrible ending of that relationship. Twisted, emotional and a little dark this story will pull you in and ensure you keep turning the pages. Enjoy!
