Intense. Loved it, easy but exciting.

Good. I know good is not exactly a glowing recommendation but that’s what it is. I found our main character to be a bit uptight. She saw no gray and I don’t believe that many people, if any, actually feel that way. If you love someone you tend to stick by them or at the very least support them through their mistakes. This girl acted like she was better than everyone in a way that I didn’t find authentic. I liked the story, I liked Paul, I liked Jax and I loved the setting. But somehow Charlie’s high and mighty attitude towards “justice” seemed very antiquated. I’m not disappointed that I read it though and did enjoy it enough to push through.

Great Read!. A slow burn that packs a punch. Atmospheric. A perfect fall/winter read.

So Many Twists. One of my favorite reads of 2023! Saw this book recommended on Tik Tok, and it did not disappoint! Was not expecting there to be so many twists and it continued to leave me guessing until the very end. A must read if you enjoy a good thriller!

Very interesting story. I recommend this book. My only negative is that it seemed to contain more introspective thought than I prefer. The mystery and setting were intense.

fantastic read!. Not a lot of complaints about this book! I would say that some of the chapters didn’t end off on a suspenseful note. She did a fantastic job at the end tying up loose ends. Well done.

Good book. I really liked this book. However I figured out who the bad guy was pretty early on, as I’m sure many readers will. I was hoping for more twists & turns and that I was wrong. But despite that, it was still a good read.

Entertaining. STRANGER IN THE LAKE is an entertaining read. I liked the varied cast of characters, the storyline, and the well-crafted mystery. The setting is perfect, and the ending was satisfying. Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book.

When Charlotte is married to the wealthy widower Paul, it causes a ripple of gossip in their small lakeside town. Everything goes well in the beginning, until Charlotte discovers a young woman’s body floating in the exact same spot where Paul’s first wife tragically drowned. Belle’s writing is on spot and the was smooth. STRANGER IN THE LAKE is a thrilling achievement that you MUST READ! 👍👍
