4 stars. Fun, and oh..so sweet! Alaska is a strong character in this story...and Nature...which thrilled me.

Mine Until Moonrise. ARC for honest review with no compensation Mine Until Moonrise is book 1 in the new series Lost Harbor, Alaska by Jennifer Bernard and what a great start! Megan Miller, scientist, mother of a child prodigy comes to Lost Harbor to start a new life for herself and her daughter following a horrific trauma at her former job. Now she owns a natures tour business and is feuding with big charter captain Lucas Holt... Lucas Holt returns home to Lost Harbor after the death of his father, hoping to settle his father’s affairs, sell the “Jack Hammer” and return back to the lower to his business Colorado, except he thinks something is fishy about his father’s death. He is trying to find out more information to the detriment of the local detective and feuding with the nature tours new owner and resident Megan Miller among other things... that is until the storm changes the course of their relationship... Can these to find a way to coexist with business, keep tempers under control and not let the sparks ignite or will the legend of “Lost Souls” be what opens their hearts to the wonders of love!!

Loved the book. You have to read the entire book...it might not sound like it’s gonna be good to read in the beginning but it goes somewhere I promise...i would recommend it to someone who enjoys a great read and has patience to give it a chance...you won’t be disappointed...I’d like to own it for my personal collection on my shelf :)

Mine until midnight. Fun look at romance in unusual circumstances. Makes you want to find a tiny village and a sexy lover in Alaska

I’m going to love this town. I can tell I’m going to love this town! Lucas and Megan had a rivalry going from the first meet. Getting the last word was the goal. I loved their banter and their chemistry. Ruby was a gem (groan), and the secondary characters were awesome. Can’t wait for more from Lost Harbor, Alaska!

No. I didn’t even get 1/10 into this book, and tossed it in the trash. She was unlikable from the very beginning. He seemed to be OK, and the little girl was fine, but she was just ridiculous. I would not recommend this.

Lost in love. Recently divorced with a 8 year old daughter Megan moves from California to a small harbor in Alaska. Her heart set on making a living doing naturalist bird tours on a small boat. She makes friends but more enemies which causes concern in the harbor. As a scientist she tries to make changes life turns with finding a man that tests her patience daily. Turns out love is on the horizon. With many obstacles that keep her wondering if this was the right move. Romance wins over after solving her residual problems & finding her strength.

Great new series. This was a great start to a new series. I really enjoyed Lucas and Megan as a couple. They brought out the best in each other even if they didn’t come off that way right off the bat. I liked meeting Lucas’s high school girlfriend, Officer Maya and Megan’s friend, Zoe, who owned a pizza parlor. I am hoping they get their own book so I can go back and visit this town.

Loved it!. Loved the sweet and sexy romance of Lucas and Megan. The setting in Alaska is amazing. You will love the storyline and all the characters of Lost Harbor .

But she enjoys people and birds, so she eagerly tries to make her business a success. After all, her daughter is depending on her. What she doesn’t enjoy is the handsomely, cocky Lucas... Lucas has returned to Lost Harbor for one reason, to settle his dad’s affairs. Lucas never wanted to run his dad’s business and left Lost Harbor to escape his dad’s abusive, drunk ways. Lucas wants nothing more than to return to Colorado and his successful business...until he meets Megan. Lucas and Megan’s chemistry is sizzling! I loved their witty banter as well. Lucas is super sweet and kind with Ruby. Lucas’ struggle confronting his demons was so realistic, I felt as though I was right there with him. Megan’s interactions with her ex were spot on! As a divorced, single mom I identified with the stress of going through mediation. That is NOT a fun process! The possibility of losing custody of your child, that you would die for, is gut wrenching! Jennifer Bernard nailed it with her new series. Truly enjoyable read! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Amazing read I couldn’t stop. It was like a movie, I couldn’t believe how entrapped I was in the story!

Bird Nerd and Fish asurgeon. What an amazing start to a new series by Jennifer Bernard. This is set in Lost Harbor, Alaska and features Megan and Lucas. I won’t leave any spoilers, but if you enjoy laughs, a little suspense, and a whole lotta love, then you won’t be disappointed. The way she describes the scenes makes you feel like you’re there in Alaska. I can’t wait for book two.

Fun story, great setting and a HEA. Mine Until Moonrise, the first book in the Lost Harbor, Alaska series,is a wonderful story set in a small fishing town in Alaska. As I expected it’s another great read by Jennifer Bernard. Megan Miller is a divorced mother raising her daughter, Ruby, an 8 year old math prodigy. She runs a charter boat taking people on birdwatching tours in Lost Harbor, Alaska. The Forget Me Not is an old boat, with lots of personality and she is determined to make her nature tour/birdwatching tour business a success for herself and her daughter. Lucas Holt runs a charter boat service too. He is the charter fishing guide service in Lost Harbor. He and Megan didn’t get off to a good start. She ran her old tub, the Forget Me Not, into his expensive charter boat. He manages to stay on Megan’s wrong side by not always agreeing with her at harbor meeting and running his boat where she is taking birdwatchers. This book has a great story line, romance and well developed characters. It kept my attention from the first chapter to the end. I look forward to the next book in the Lost Harbor series.

Great Read. I read a lot and this was one of my favorites. I would definitely recommend reading it.

Start of an awesome new series!. 4 1/2 stars! This is such a wonderful love story and intro book for this new series by Jennifer Bernard. Jenny has a fantastic writing style that really brings you into the story and makes you feel like you are actually there. What a beautiful setting for this series. I love Lucas and Megan so much and this small town in Alaska. Their frenemies status made for some awesome banter and interactions between them! Their back stories make sense and really show you why they are the way they are. They made me laugh the way they argued about everything. You could feel the chemistry but also that they were ignorant to it for the most part until they weren't and that was amazing! The other characters in the town were a great asset to the story itself and I can't wait to get to know some of them even better throughout the series. I also enjoyed all the myths and stories the people told about the area and how it added a little extra something to the book. Lucas made me swoon so much but the way he treats Megan's daughter Ruby really did it for me.
