Loved this Reluctant to find love in all the wrong places!. Really, Really enjoyed Jordie & Harper! Reluctant romance Harper, swears she’ll never date a hockey player. Hockey player hottie, Jordie, wants a shot with her! Loved this story! The plot, the characters, the humor. The heattt!!!! Loved it!

Total Miss. Kendall’s books are either really good or really bad. This one is really bad. The characters have the mentality of 14 year olds. The dialogue between the two is weak, bland, and childish.

Taking His Shot. The last book in the series of Hot Jocks. It’s another great book, I loved this series. Jordie and Harper had chemistry from the beginning, Jordie being the rookie on the hockey team won a date and with Harper who doesn’t date hockey players. A dumb thing Jordie and some teammates did almost cost him what he’s always wanted. If you haven’t read it do

The End of the Hot Jocks!. How? How is this the end of the Hot Jocks?! I knew it was book 7 but it still makes me sad. I've grown with these guys! Not really but I have gotten wrapped up into their lives. Harper doesn't date players, period. She's met enough of them over her lifetime that she is not going to be some puck bunny nor a notch on a goal. And really, who could blame her? So she meets Jordie ready to reject his advances. He's too hot, too cocky and just too there. Jordie isn't like the other Hot Jocks. I love them all but he's definitely different - except for being a bit of a bonehead. He knew immediately that he wanted to invest the effort into getting to know Harper, he just needed to break down her walls or at least crack them. I'm sad but so happy for each of these couples who I'm sure I will read again!

So sad this series is over. I just finished reading the last book in the Hot Jocks series and I am so sad it’s over. All seven of the books were fantastic. I really enjoyed book six, Grant and Ana. I will now start on Rebel and I am looking forward to reading it. I really love reading your books. ELingal04

Fantastic!. This was a fantastic story, filled with humor, love, heat and so much emotion. I just didn’t want to put the story down. The characters are fantastic and this was a great ride. Since the moment Harper Allen and Jordan Prescott meet I was all in. So much fun watching the antagonism between them as well as their mutual attraction. I loved their chemistry and the sexual tension, and oh my...that first kiss was perfection. And that was the just the start, whew! I loved Harper and how tough she was, with her stance about not dating Hockey players, and how she didn’t put up with anything that Jordan used to try and sway her. Jordan has a growing reputation for casual hookups, but he is so smitten by Harper from the moment he sees her that he is taking everything about Harper seriously. Which is something new for him completely. And boy does she make him work for it like no girl has before. This slow build was simply the best part. But as these two become more comfortable with one another, they learn that they have more in common than they ever could imagine. Making the sparks fly when they finally give into their mutual attraction. The writing was fantastic. A totally solid read. There was just such great progression that it had me turning the pages as quick as I could. Great characters that I fell in love with the more the story went on. I loved watching them let down their walls, especially Jordan he really works hard to earn Harper’s trust.

Charming. This was a cute love story. Not a lot of steamy scenes, but it was more of a quality than quantity situation. Jordie is completely loveable as a reviving bad boy that is ready to find someone of substance, and Harper is your typical make him work for it kinda girl. I laughed and felt the all the feels.

Absolutely fabulous!. I absolutely loved, loved, loved this book! Dare I say the best was saved for last?? Not sure but I will admit that Jordie has pushed Asher to number 2 and he has taken over as my favorite hot jock. I don’t think I put this book down once I started reading, it was just too good. Harper was a fantastic match for Jordie. She didn’t fawn all over him, she didn’t google his personal/professional information in fact the fact that Jordie was a hockey player actually worked against him. Why? Harper’s dad was the coach of the team that Jordie played on and she didn’t have the best memories of hockey while she grew up. Jordie being himself didn’t give up and persued Harper and convinced her to give him a chance. Jordie and Harper were a fabulous couple and you could feel the attraction between them even when Harper was trying to rebuff his actions. Their chemistry was hot and definitely made them one of my favorite couples. This whole series has been wonderful and I have honestly loved each and every hot jock. While I have enjoyed each of the guys while reading their book, there is just something about Jordie that made home my favorite. You definitely can’t go wrong with this book or series!

Holy finale!!. When Harper is reluctantly roped into being the charity date for the Ice Hawks she is mad when the rookie Jordie bids on her. She is not a fan of players. Great romance. Harper is feisty. I loved how earnest and sweet Jordie is. She makes him work for it. The chemistry was great. Sneak peeks into the previous couples. I am sad that this is the last book of the series. Great sports themed romance with great story lines.

Loving the continuation of this series!. Loving the continuation of this series! Doing a favor for her father and filling in at a charity event for the hockey team, Harper is determined to complete the task as fast as possible. As a child, she has been reluctant to do anything involving the sport, especially dating any players. Jordie has been the rookie player for the team for a few years, and has found that the player days are past him. When he sees Harper and realizes she’s the coach’s daughter, he hesitates, but is dying to get to know her. In combination, he ends up getting involved in a bet with another player about getting Harper to fall for him. As Jordie works to break down Harper’s walls, he finally gets his chance when she agrees to date, and as they get to know each other, the chemistry continues to grow and feelings get stronger. But when Harper finds out about the bet, after she has let him in and given him a chance, it puts their entire relationship at risk. I loved Harper and Jordie’s journey especially after the pasts the pair have. I was so happy they got their HEA and can’t wait for the next installment in this series! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The Best Yet!!!!. Jordie and Harper's story was the cake topper in this series. I loved the Hot Jocks previous books and fell so hard for each character. But with out beloved rookie, he needed some hard love to push him to his limits and true potential. Harper was a fireball. I loved her and knew that she was destined for Jordie. You do not get hearts and flowers right away. These characters are stubborn and need to take a minute to realize what they both want. I was ok with that as I loved every moment it took to get there. Taking His Shot was simply the best! I am sad to say goodbye to this series, but loved how it all unfolds with the end.

Amazing way to end a series. I fell in love with Jordie! I don’t think I have ever laughed out loud while reading a book but I did multiple times for this book. Kendall is an amazing writer and I seriously cannot put her books down. This book is right there with the rest.

Perfect Wrap-Up For A Well-Loved Series. So, TAKING HIS SHOT. The final story in the Hot Jocks series by author Kendall Ryan. I have to say, I was a little bit surprised by this book. Oh, I knew that I would like it, because Kendall's hockey players have wormed their way into my romance-loving heart, but I wasn't too sure about Jordie. Even though we'd met and liked him in earlier books, at first glance, here he comes across as another one of those guys. You know, immature, typical jock, player, skirt-chaser...but what a heart-melter he turned out to be. And Harper. Harper is not going down without a fight. As the daughter of the team coach, she has had a long-standing rule about not dating players. And she was hanging tough, but the more she discovers about Jordie, the more they open up to each other, the harder it is for her to stay true to her decision. TAKING HIS SHOT is emotional, passionate, and heartfelt, and shows just how far Jordie is willing to go to get his love. Harper doesn't stand a chance, and neither did I. What a great finish to a well-loved series. I will miss these boys, and can't wait to see what Kendall has in store for us next. ❤️

Perfect story to end with. Taking His Shot is book 7 in the Hots Jocks Series and for me this is one of those series that has got better with each book, I was sad going into this one because I knew it was the final story in the series but let me just say this “ Ms Ryan left the best for last “ and you will want to add Jordie and Harper’s romance to your TBR list or should I say you will want to one click this must read for all hockey lovers as well as all romance lovers in general. This is a romance between the team rookie and the coaches daughter and lines are going to be crossed, Jordie needs to prove to the team that he is worthy of his spot and he should be concentrating on hockey but that’s hard to do when you can’t get the coaches daughter out of your mind. Harper has sworn she will never date a hockey player, she is worth more than a fling with a player so why is the new guy occupying so much of her mind...... This book ticked all my boxes, I loved this couple, I loved the chemistry and the banter they shared but most of all I loved the loyalty they shared as friends before becoming the lovers they were destined to be. A great addition to a wonderful series and I can’t wait to see what’s next from this very talented author.

Perfect ending to an amazing series!. This is the final book in the Hot Jocks series and Jordie’s story doesn’t disappoint! He’s the rookie of the team and his teammates have become his family! He’s private, wants to find that special someone and after a bid at a charity auction he doesn’t count on Harper! I loved the fact that Jordie had to actually work for Harper’s attention! She also has a rule, can Jordie get her to break it! I loved that he opened up and I especially liked how he really wanted that unconditional love all his teammates seem to have found! Can Jordie find it too or will he fail!? I loved hearing how the men and their respective partners from this series are doing and I really enjoy their comradery! Can Jordie redeem himself and become the man he is destined to be!? Just the perfect ending to an amazing series!

Great end to the series. I was excited to dive in to Taking His Shot, although sad as well as I know that this is the last book in the series. This is team rookie Jordie and Harper, the coach’s daughter’s story and it was a great way to end the series. I really liked both Jordie and Harper. Jordie is focused and determined to prove himself, both on and off the ice and I admired that. Can Jordie convince Harper that there is more to him than being “just a hockey player”, particularly since she has always been determined never to date a hockey player. The chemistry between Jordie and Harper sizzled and Taking His Shot was a great addition to the Hot Jock series. The connection and friendship that they have was heartwarming and I was cheering for them to get their happily ever after. A swoon worthy romance that ticked the boxes for me.
