I can’t believe I paid for this book…. A poorly written, childish story. Also, a bit perturbed by the author’s complete erasure of the visibly large Bengali community in Jackson Heights with the way she describes the neighborhood in this book.

Jennifer Weiner should’ve left this in her drafts. This book is absolutely terrible.

Scooby Doo. Read like a Scooby Doo mystery with Daphne the main investigator.

Her best!. Enjoyable and never lagged, best of her books with great character development and would like to see these characters again, hated to see the book end.

I loved this book!. I thought this was a very good book! Very interesting and kept my attention. There was drama, love and crime. It even touched on body/fat shaming and confidence. The book reminded me of a lifetime movie.

Good. Good but weird. Like three books in one.

Impossible to put down.. Reading this book you will not be able to move, you will stop breathing in places and you will be unable to put this fabulous book down

Meh. Had some great writing but overall predictable and hard to get through. Can’t recommend.

Good...if it were $3. Some good plot twists, some good portrayal of modern social media presence, a few moments of excitement, but some bland characters and a lot of having to suspend disbelief. If I had grabbed it out of a bargain bin, I would have loved it as a fun beach read. But I’m disappointed paid $15 for it.

Another great book from a Jennifer Weiner. Finished the book today in almost one sitting. Loved the main character. Storyline is unique and a reminder that social media lives and real lives are very different. Highly recommend.

Too much. Is it a mystery? A romance? A crime novel? Yes, which makes it too much. Too many cliches, unbelievable story lines. Ugh, didn’t like it.

Not worth your time.. Sometimes I like to read silly, feel-good stories, but this turned into murder mystery that was not believable. I didn’t like the characters, the plot was silly and the love story pretty nonexistent. I don’t recommend, sorry.

Entertaining mystery. Page turner with mystery, but at same time messages of self love, self worth and a reminder that not all things are as they seem to be.

Not her best. I usually enjoy Jennifer Weiner’s books so I bought this without a second thought. It was really disappointing. Some interesting characters but overall a very unbelievable plot. Although I commend her efforts at branching out into a different genre, she should stick to what her fans have loved her for.

Could not put it down!. This is one those books that you continue to think about after you’ve read just a few chapters. I wanted to know what was next. I also loved the vivid imagery and character developments. Don’t miss this one!
