It was such a captivating, powerful, dangerous, seductive, and passionate start. There is so much mystery and intrigue right from the get go that I was immediately pulled into this dark, dangerous world. I wanted to know all about Aria Alard’s past and what and who she was hiding from. I was very much on the edge of my seat as we were introduced to some new characters that are involved and there is lots of mystery surrounding a few of them, who they are, and how exactly they play into everything. But there were also some old characters that brought such joy just to read more about them in this series. I was completely intrigued and hooked, reading as fast as I could, but not wanting this book to ever end. Aria Alard is hiding her past, as well as her family ancestry, with her brother in New York City. But when he goes missing she goes to the World Renowned Riptide Auction House, looking for a woman named Sofia, hoping to find her brother, the only family she has left. But instead she finds herself totally captivated by Kace August. A violin virtuoso, a “Rockstar” with his remixed versions of hot, new pop hits making the violin something cool and sexy. Their attraction is electric, their passion, demanding. He is everything she has been warned against, but it only makes her want him more. Stay tuned! Next up is book two A WICKED SONG. Brillant Book. A Reckless Note (Brilliance Trilogy Book 1) is a well-written book that introduces us to Kace and Aria. Kace is a violinist that plays to sold-out audiences all over the world. His favorite violin is a Stratovarius as it brings the music to life and allows the melody to transport those that listen. Kace meets Aria and is instantly taken with her. Aria is the owner of a business in which she finds treasures for clients at various auction houses around the country. Aria is now tasked with finding one of the most important treasures in her life, her brother. Following a lead about a Stratovarius that is to be auctioned off, Aria meets Kace. She is drawn to him even though she knows that it is dangerous to be around others who may be able to piece together the mystery surrounding her life that she keeps hidden. Aria is poised with decisions to make right from the beginning of their relationship. The most important surrounding her brother, Gio, who is missing and can not seem to be found. Little by little they each allow the other into their very private lives. Sinfully hot with unparalleled chemistry Aria and Kace are one amazing couple. Will they each open up and find something they thought could never happen? Will their secrets keep them apart? A Reckless Note is the only the beginning of this story and an unbelievable start to the next Lisa Renee Jones trilogy.

Intriguing. I’ve been in a book funk and hadn’t had anything catch my attention in a while. I’ve also previously heard about the Stradivarius violin and it’s rarity so I was immediately interested in this book. Lisa does an amazing job weaving romance, mystery, and art all into one. The ending is a cliffhanger but was somewhat expected. Overall 100% recommend this book!

Made me want more. I was so happy to read this book knowing that some of the characters from the Inside Out series would be in it. Lisa has made me a happy girl with this. Aria Alard is trying to find her brother Gio, who has gone missing. Aria has a lot of secrets that she must keep hiding to keep her, and hopefully her brother alive. Kace August is a world renowned violin player. Kace meets Aria and knows he wants to know more about her. This is the first book in the Brilliance Trilogy series. This does have cliffhanger. I am so excited about this series.

Great Characters!. This book hooked me from the start. I love these characters Aria and Kace, they have great chemistry. I also love all the returning characters from other books. This book is a page turner and OMG, what a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read the next book.

I am on the edge of my seat I loved it so much!. Lisa, Lisa, Lisa, you and your cliffhangers, I loath and crave them all at the same time. I am on the edge of my seat, I loved “A Reckless Note” so much. And Pa-lease.. a Savage cameo say no more.

It just grabs you!. This just grabs you right from the beginning. I love that it felt like jumping in with both feet and not being sure where you'll land. It immediately starts off with Aria's missing brother and the mysterious background of her family. You don't learn a lot in this first book and it does end on a pretty big cliffhanger but it really had me guessing throughout. I love that Kace is not your average rock star. He's a rock star who's also a violinist. That's unique and made him more interesting. He also has some mysteriousness about him, but the one thing you won't question about him is his attraction to Aria. In fact, his attention to her is pretty addicting. I can't wait to see where these two will go from here. That ending could mean several things. I also can not wait to find out about what's going on with her family. Great first book!

A Remarkable Reckless Note!. At the beginning of the book, there was a “wow” line and two revelations which means I was immediately plunged into this intense story. I also immediately felt for Aria with the revelations that were revealed. When Aria and Kace meet, they stir a fierce reaction in each other. They stormed into each other’s lives, and I was here for the adventure and mystery. They ignited a dangerous fire between them, and it burned hot throughout the book. Kace was a bit of mystery, but as Aria got to know him so did we. I was fascinated by him, and I can’t wait to peel back more of his layers. Aria stepped out of her comfort zone for Kace, because she has been hiding from her past and living a lonely existence. As she stepped out of her comfort zone for him, it brings her closer to her past and closer to danger, and they built a bond filled with light and dark. Can she tell and trust Kace with the truth? Read this remarkable book and find out! I highly recommend it, but watch out for that cliffhanger! I can’t wait for book two of this three book series! *I received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review.*
