Comfortable Read. A very interesting plot, and something that catch’s the reader’s attention from the first few pages. The ending get a bit crazy with the twists and reveals, however overall I enjoyed the book and binged within a week. I will be picking up the second one!

Page Turner. Not a book I would normally select but so glad Literati exposed me to it. This is by far one of the best books I have read all year. Highly recommend it and hoping for a sequel.

Interesting story but writing could be improved. Good and original story line. Kept my interest throughout. I did feel like there was a lot of unnecessary and not useful text. Like it was a paper that a high schooler was trying to make longer to fill a word count quota and the text didn’t really give any more description or develop emotions further. I skipped forward a few paragraphs multiple times because I felt that certain parts were being dragged out and went back to read the things I had skipped I felt like they really weren’t useful to character or scene development.

Thrilling. I could not put the book down. This is absolutely refreshing. I do hope the story continues.

I finished a third of the book and quit it.. It could have been a good story, but the writing was tiresome to me. The main character was way to “emotional”, or she over-reacted. It was like the author was trying to artificially build intensity by having the main character be SO (fill in the blank) when the situation really didn’t call for it. I finally couldn’t take it anymore and quit the book. It was simple and seemed to be written for a younger audience.

Slow Start. Started off a little bit too slow for me to comprehend what was going on, but once I kept reading it got better over time.
