Good start to a series. I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read. The main character is an alpha but really endearing. The bad boy/good girl plot predictable with a bit of a twist

Good & sexy book. Good and sexy book. I just hate when the ily’s are dropped so fast and the overuse of the word “honey”.

Swoon Worthy. How can a story be cute by sexy at the same time? Austin and Dani are the best.

Cute-ish. Cute story, but a bit ridiculous and corny.

Recommended. I love the Dogs of Fire! Austin “Booker” Carver and Dani Harris meet when her car breaks down and he comes to the rescue. They are an unlikely pair as he is part of the Dogs of Fire MC and she is the daughter of a sheriff. Austin is very alpha and they butt heads a few times when he tries to tell her what to do. Dani is a little naive and sheltered by her family. She has been taken advantage of by an ex and she is a little leery of the sexy biker. There is a little intrigue in this story, but this isn’t a gritty MC read. They are not 1%ers, and are mostly above board in their dealings. A lot of Piper Davenport’s books are interconnected, and you get cameos from the main characters in Witness and Justice. I would recommend this book and this series.

Patsfavorites. I love everything about this book. It has passion, love, excitement, suspense, educational details and a great story. A wonderful, fun read!! Well done!!!

Road to Desire. I read this book because I have previously read Piper Davenport’s Cauld Ane series and loved them. Was NOT disappointed at all! Same wonderful writing style with new characters to fall in love, and into the pages, with.

Wonderful. I was surprised at the kind of man Austin was.

Page Turner…. I like the fact that I kept turning page after page! The writing was really strong and the roughneck (Austin) had a sweet and desired side to him.

This plot makes no sense. The plot to this book doesn’t make sense. Character development is limited and the characters actions don’t follow logic. It’s also EXTREMELY sexist. This book basically is everything wrong with the patriarchy. The author also says “back atya” entirely too often.

Road to Desire. Apple Books. I rated this book a 5 because the main characters were interesting and the story line melded together nicely. Above all, the author spared me the ridiculous cliffhangers often found in this type of readings. Kudos to the author.

Great book!. Loved the story!

Sweetly addictive.. This was a good book with a really well-written story and great character development. The romance was hot and steamy, just enough, and the plot was definitely one I couldn't put down. All of it wasn't over the top, but a mix and balance enough that you wanted to read all the way to the end to see where it ended up. Ican't wait to read the next book in the series. And, there's ten books? I'll be reading a while. Lol. Piper Davenport writes so well and vividly that she creates characters and a world that is so lifelike you get sucked in. I haven't read a suspenseful romance like this in a bit. And, I'm not normally a sucker for these, but I guess now I am. Lol. It's a good shift from my normal fare. Enjoy and if you like a little suspense with your romance and it mixed, tastefully well, you'll love this one.

Immature character. A kindergarten teacher with the innocence of 12 year old and conversation level of a skittish teenager .. of that I found it hard to relate into the characters and get into the story .. every dialogues of hers makes me rolled my eye

Quite good. I liked this story it was easy to read and get into. It probably ended a bit soon but nothing was left as a mystery either. Will definitely read the series.

Meh!. I was expecting more excitement or something, but it never came.

A little rushed. This book had lots of good but I felt like it was rushed. I would have liked to see more character development and more description for some of the scenes like Dani’s rescue for one. Over all not a bad quick read!
