Kingston & Stella stole my heart!. Ohhhhh Kingston & Stella how you captured my heart! I do not know how Piper Rayne does it, but each and every book just gets better and better. The emotions leap from the page with the complex history that each character has. It always feels new and refreshing. The emotional hurdles that both Stella and Kingston are up against hurt my heart, but in true Piper Rayne fashion they handle it with love, strength, and a renewed hope that together they can get through it. The issue of race is touched upon and I love that Piper Rayne was not afraid to branch out and give us an interracial couple! It is 2020 people this should be the norm by now! Kudos to them for taking this step especially in the social climate we are currently in.

Happy for them. Stella and Kingston really had a rough road. Love the way this one played out.

This series gets better and better!. Gahhhhh!! Another stellar story from the minds of Piper and Rayne! I absolutely love the world they have created with Lake Starlight and the Bailey family! Kingston and Stella! Their story has intrigued me since Piper Rayne started dropping hints about them in the previous books in the series. The roadblocks that both Kingston and Stella had in front of them and how they were able to break down the barriers between them were spectacular. The history between King and Stella was rich and moving. It made my heart melt and swoon.  Reading about them seeing each other again was so inspiring and I couldn't put this book down till the very end! I admired the fact that King and Stella were an interracial couple.  Love knows no color or creed, the heart wants what it wants and two souls shouldn't be separated because of it! This story is doesn't focus on race, it focuses on love and being with your soul mate. As always, there are surprises aplenty and I was gasping when I read them!  I am hoping with Sedona's story next, we will find out who is behind the Buzzwheel!!

Winning my Best Friend’s Girl ( Lake Starlight Alaska book 8 ) by Piper Rayne. Another great story about the Bailey family. This is Stella and Kingston’s story . Stella came to Alaska when she was in grade school and Kingston has been in love with her ever since , the problem was his best friend beat him to her . The whole situation between the three was horrific and caused so much heartache . Stella leaves Lake Starlight but returned when her mother became ill, she has been going to school to become a Doctor. A must read and hopefully you have been following the series and all the HEA that has happened to the Bailey family .

Worst book in the series. I just could’ve get into it. Both Stella and Kingston come off as annoying and immature. They lack chemistry and, not to give things away, but the two major roadblocks in their relationship are lame. I love the idea of a biracial couple, but the story needed more work.

It takes a while for our love birds to get together... and they do it in a spectacular fashion. So much love for the one that got away. Disclaimer: Kingston and Stella were neck and neck with Colton and Juno... Colton and Juno won by just a hair. It’s that good. Hell the entire series is a must read! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great second chance romance. Piper Rayne is one of my go to authors for a fun contemporary romance. This is the eighth in the Bailey series, each book highlighting a different romance trope for each of the nine siblings. Kingston Bailey is the only sibling that doesn’t live full time in Lake Starlight. He works as a paramedic in Anchorage and as a smoke jumper during fire season. What we know about Kingston’s love life is that he fell in love with Stella who dated his former BFF from high school. Stella has finished medical school and is now doing her residency in Anchorage to be closer to her sick mother. History seems to be repeating itself as Stella is dating Kingston’s new BFF and partner at the firehouse. Will Stella and Kingston be able to get past their history to get their HEA. Loved both characters and catching up with the whole Bailey clan. The epilogue has a freaking awesome cliffhanger that will have you clamoring for the next book. I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review.

Loved it. This is one of those series that stays with you forever, every book you pick up feels like you are going home to catch up with family and friends. This is small town romance at it best. Book 8 in the series is Kingston and Stella’s story and boy do they have an entertaining tale to tell.... Kingston let Stella go once before and now that fate has given then a second chance there is no way that’s going to happen again, she has always been the one for him and even though this man thrives on adventures often described as an adrenaline junkie the thought of Stella breaking his heart again simply terrify’s him..... Stella left Lake Starlight, Alaska many years ago to go to school in New York, she needed to get away from the mess she created by choosing Owen over Kingston but now it seems fate is determined to throw her back into the arms of the ma; she walked away from.. Winning My Best Friend’s Girl is a book that ticked all my boxes, it has the perfect mix of fun, love and drama, I laughed, I smiled and I swooned so much as I joined Kingston and Stella on their second chance at love and happiness so all that’s left for me to say is please one click this gem.

Loved it. Every time I read a book in this series, I feel like I am coming home. There is not a Bailey that I don’t love; they are such a great family and their friends are just as awesome. I really love small town romances and found myself wishing that I could be a part of the Lake Starlight , Alaska community. Piper Rayne write strong characters and are not afraid to show them in all their flawed glory, it makes the stories that much more realistic and I love that. This is Kingston and Stella’s story and what a story it is. There is only one woman who Kingston has loved and that woman is Stella, the one who got away. Kingston is such an adrenaline junkie, a brave man afraid of nothing, or is he? He fears having his heart broken again by Stella but if he doesn’t try again, he knows that he won’t get another chance. Stella left Alaska eight years ago to go to school in New York, hoping to escape the mess she left behind after choosing Owen over Kingston, leaving friendships in tatters. Kingston has never gotten over Stella and now it looks like history is about to be repeated. With a little help from his meddling family Kingston and Stella may finally have the chance to get the happily ever after that they both deserve. It was great catching up on all the couples and their extended family and friends. As I expected there were laughs, some drama, a little angst and a whole lot of love .

Kingston & Stella. Enjoyed their story but I was definitely ripping my hair out at certain points. Better communication between the two could have solved so many problems/issues and they could have come together sooner.

Can’t get enough. I just love this series! -Now I’m in love with King. Great story line and as usual funny, loving and hot. Makes you want to move to Alaska. Read it in one day.
