My Favorite Series Ever. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to start this series at first. I read the sample and thought “not sure if I really want to spend the money on this one”. But I needed a longer book for an upcoming vacation and other reviews convinced me to give it a try. Best decision ever! I can’t believe I almost didn’t read this incredible series. Romance and sci-fi are my favorite genres and this is a beautiful mix of both. Fell in love with the characters and blew through all 4 books in a few weeks. In addition to the amazing characters, storyline, etc. I can’t stress enough what a brilliant writer Sarah is! I have read everything from Harry Potter to Outlander, to all of Colleen Hoover’s books, and I love them all. But in my opinion, nothing can touch this series. I was actually quite upset when I finished. Do yourself a favor and read it all!!!

Brilliant work. I loved this story so much. The characters were lovely and evil. It was quite the emotional roller coaster.

Colorful imagery. The author is excellent at describing color, scenery, etc. Vivid us of language. I never read books about this type of subject matter, but I enjoyed it.

this whole series is amazing. this is the first book i picked up in years and i was not disappointed. every time i finished got close to finishing a book, i ordered the next and spent the days in between reading over the lore, telling everyone about it, and coming up with theories. very excited for the most recent book to drop. 20/10 will be reading again

Good for what it is. Story is easy to get into, strong female lead rather than the brooding damsel in distress most YA novels have. However, sjm writes like she doesn’t have a thesaurus. Repeats the same descriptors for everything, “ripped to ribbons” “mirth” “bowels turned watery” “metallic tang”. Some of the plot also seemed lazily written, but honestly, if you want an easy read and have a thing for faeries, give it a try. Hopefully the rest of the series has more depth.

Fun Story. I didn’t know what to expect when I read this, only that I had seen young women in the bookstore buy it and check it out. I didn’t even know it was romance — just that it was some fantasy story about fairies. I really enjoyed this book and the story. I enjoyed the series as well, though I thought it started stronger than it ended.

Wow. Although it took the first third or so of the book for me to feel truly invested, I COULD NOT sit this down for the rest. I was staying up too late and looking forward to reading this each day. So well crafted and creative. I loved this book and can't wait to start the next!

First Book After Awhile. I had so much fun reading this book, as it’s been the first i’ve read in a few years. I have never read a fantasy before and this has me hooked! what a great story about love, friendship, hardships, the trade-offs of life, and more! can’t wait to continue with the other books.

Do It!. If you are reading reviews, you are obviously considering this book.. get off the fence, and do it! I hardly ever read fantasy, but this quickly rocketed to the top of my list of favorite books. As the story went on, it’s spot as my favorite book solidified. Do it!

Entrancing, Dark, colorful fanasty.. I haven’t read fanasty series in a long while and this book was everything I could have hoped for.

Breathtaking. This visuals and details made me feel part of the book. Rarely do books have such amazing depth and a plot that leaves you hanging on edge. No other equals for this book, or this series.

Eh it’s alright.. This book definitely had its moments where it was enjoyable. Although that’s the case, I feel the author lacked creativity in the writing in a handful of places. The same analogies and descriptions were used countless times to the point where it was almost obnoxious. The “climactic” disclosure of Tamlin’s situation left me rolling my eyes and feeling quite disappointed. I love fantasy. With good fantasy writing I feel there has to be a believability that keeps you connected to the story.. I felt the plot ended up being a little forced for me. With all that being said I still read it and felt entertained through a lot of it. It’s worth a read!

Recommended to me…. By one of my best friends. Fantastic! I am a Quinn Loftis fan and am waiting for her new book to come out and this new series will be right next to hers on my list!!

🤯🤯. Unbelievable! I never got bored reading it. Something happened in every chapter. At first I thought it was very predictable but once I got to the midddle is was nothing I expected 🤯🤯 can’t wait to start the second one 😩

A Court of Thorns and Roses. Hey everyone! I’m here to do my review on ACOTAR. I’ve been wanting to read this series for so long, and last night I finally finished book one! I have to say, if you’re not a heavy romance reader or are 16+ I don’t recommend you read this series. It covers a lot of serious topics, but I liked it more than I thought I would! I feel like even though I didn’t love this one, the books will get better! Fantasy books definitely need build up to get good. Sarah J. Maas did Prythian in a really gorgeous way, and her writing style is super captivating. It was good, probably a three star reading for me. Now I’m off to Barnes to buy ACOMAF 😂

The book that started it all. The first of the book series that got me in love with reading. I am an adult now that has never loved reading, the twists and turns of these characters and the fantasy that she is written them in, to me, feel as real as the Harry Potter series. It comes to life when you read this series. I could not stop, I bought all the books immediately and when they were not here in time for me to continue to the next one, I bought them on my phone until they arrived at my home. Thank you Sarah J Maas for creating a wild world that I could loose my self in and yet also feel connected to.

AMAZING. I absolutely love this series with all of my heart. Sarah j. Maas is my new favourite author after reading 7 of her books I’m completely hooked. You’ll fall in love with the character as the series goes on and won’t regret a moment of reading it.
