Why. I was so excited for this book. It starts off so good and interesting......... and Um wow just wow. I will probably never re-read this book. I could have done without it. It was okay. There were some parts that were really good. Some good insights into the other characters . But Some parts made you say , why?

No plot or character depth. Totally dissatisfied... less life in her characters or plot ... BDSM seems to be her current theme in this series ... ridiculous that so much of this book centered around washing butt plugs and purring ... seriously for such a talented writer ...

Have an open mind. First time reviewing a book but it appears to be needed. The author pushed the envelope with this one by showcasing a different side of the BDSM community that not a lot of people outside of the lifestyle know about or understand. The book itself gives a lot more insight to characters that we the readers didn’t have before. Despite other reviews the book isn’t solely about butt plugs and actually (I feel) has a little less when it comes to the smut.

Magical Storyweaver. This series is for the serious reader who will take the time to understand the magical storyweaver of this author. This book plays an essential part in understanding all the Topedo Ink members and their bond. A reader needs to be invested in unraveling the whole story. Can't wait for the next book in the series. Wonderful, masterful storytelling.

Sadly Disappointed. I really love Ms Feehan’s older books. The characters were much more alive and her plots were not written around sex. With each book that comes out, I find myself hoping that my money was not wasted. I am sadly disappointed by this latest story and regret that I have purchased it. I have given up on the leopard series and now the Torpedo books. I am truly hoping her newest Carpathian novel is better.

HOT, HOT, HOT!. I loved that Christine went is a whole new direction with this installment of Torpedo Ink. Some of the members of my book club couldn’t finish this book as the sexual overtones were not to their liking. I say, Bravo to Christine for pushing the envelope and writing a sizzling story for Absinthe and Scarlet! I LOVED this book, anxiously awaiting the next installment of Torpedo Ink!

Not a fan. I have read almost all of her books and usually can’t wait for the next one. This one was horrendously disappointing. Everyone seems to be jumping on the BDSM bandwagon and it’s just not necessary.

Just no no no. I was anxiously waiting for the story of Absinthe. The first few chapters were what I was hoping for. Then the collars, leashes and butt plugs put everything on slow down. When the meowing and cat role play started I just deleted this book from my IPad. Just stupid and unbelievable.

I had a hard time reading this book.. Her writing is wonderful but this was just to much. The whole kitten thing was just bizarre.

Worth the read. Most of the book is good. I can’t say that it’s bad because I’m not into kitten play. The story line was very well executed. If you are bothered by the roll play, just scroll on through most of that chapter keeping an eye out until the scene is over.

Desolation Road. I liked this book, it revealed how Absinthe helped the others survive the bleak conditions they grew up in. It gives me hope that perhaps Savage can be drawn back away from his extreme tendencies with Absinthe’s involvement. I like how they have evolved to protect others. Can’t wait till more of the guys find their girls but really want Alena and Lana to find love too.

Amazing book. Best book series I’ve ever read. From the start the characters pull you in and you feel for them. Sexy scenes and fetishes enhance the storyline. A must read! Brilliant!🎉

Amazing!. This series is so different then her usual series, but I'm fully hooked and loving it! Absinthe and Scarlett are such strong a,aging characters, you can't help but fall in love with them. I've heard of kitten play but not in so much detail as this book shows, and I find it utterly adorable, you can't help but feel absinthes pain and how it helped him through such an emotional nightmare. I've read this book I think 3 times now, can't wait for more! I'm dying for savages story!

Horrible. What....? That’s what I was thinking about half way through this book. I have read most of her books but couldn’t finish this one. It was a waste of money and time. I love a steamy romance novel as much as the next person but this was smut pure and simple. All I can say is “wow” and definitely not in a good way.

Terrible. I’ve read tons of Feehan’s books, but I had to return this one halfway through. No plot, just scenes of unrealistic smut. I must have been frowning the whole time...it was just so bad!

😳😳😳. First few chapters were really good, built up characters and introduced others which was great... then it was absolute ick. Is she even writing this series or did she license her name out like other authors? Just not the Feehan that loved over the years. Ever since 50 shades of grey everything is vulgar sex all the time. Disappointed

Love the Book and the Series. This book definitely took me out of my comfort zone. I was spell bound from the first chapter and could not put it down until I turned the last page. There will be some who do not appreciate differences in what turns people on or how they enjoy bedroom games. That’s fine-but please don’t stop writing for the rest of us. Variety is the spice of life and I so enjoy my food and my reading material on the hot and spicy side.
