Where is the rest of the book?. The story was good and the author is a great writer, but why is the book so short? It reads like it’s just a sample or the first couple chapters of a novel. It’s not a completed book. Even with a book 2 in the series, it should still be a full length story on its own. I cannot rate this as highly as I would like to since it is so incomplete.

Gwen and Lancelot. The Almost Queen book 10: Gwen and Lancelot’s story a retelling of an Arthurian legend. I’m a big fan of Arthurian legends, literature and myths. I took a course in college solely dedicated to the topic and loved every minute. So not a big surprise to say I enjoyed this book quite a lot. Three people stuck in an uncomfortable situation due to birth status, parental meddling and prophecy. They are friends which makes things so much better as they work together to undo the inevitable. I liked the betrayal, such a small thing that could’ve been so terrible turned to good. And a hea that is so sweet. Great read!. This Grimm Academy story allows Prince Arthur Pendragon and Lady Guinevere Olwen an opportunity to change their tragic fates. This is a duet with Prince Arthur’s full story in the next book, The Rightful King. Great lines. Feel good. And Gwen as an Almost Queen. All three have been best friends since childhood. But the families have betrothed Guinevere to Arthur, when it is Lancelot she loves. Follow the students as they meet other prophecy-holders, and do their best to make sure their prophecy doesn't come true. While the original story of Arthur, Guinevere, and Lancelot is an adult story, this has been lightened and is clean for younger readers. Sweet. This is a sweet fairy tale of Gwen & Lancelot. Gwen & Arthur are betrothed and are to be wed after they are finished at Grimm’s academy. However the heart want’s what the heart wants and with Arthur’s blessing these two share their not so secret feelings. But did that set off Gwen’s prophecy of betrayal?. To love a knight. Gwen is in love with Lancelot but engaged to Prince Arthur. Unless they can stop her prophecy she knew that she would betray Arthur start a war and die. They just have to find a way to stop the prophecy and have their happily ever after. This was a good story with fairies and wonderful characters. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it..
