I own you!! Another fantastic read in this series!. 5 MINE Stars!! What an amazing read. I seriously hated Macalister from the Filthy Rich Americans trilogy, and seeing his redemption was fantastic! This forbidden, older man/younger woman storyline is filled with intrigue, twists and oh so many secrets. Macalister and Sophie’s chemistry is electric. Their journey will keep you hooked from beginning to end. A definite must read!

Nice addition to series.. This was a nice addition to the series, however it was not nearly as good as the previous books. This story could have been developed sooooo much more and included some views from Royce/Marist and Vance as well. Including some actual redemption chapters with the other members of the family. This series is soooo good and I was expecting more from the dominant character Macalister has always been. I would have gladly paid for a second book about Macalister and Sophia if it would have been a little deeper and included more of the family and their perspectives. And... what a way to maybe introduce something with Vance!! I would also love to delve into Tate. So many great characters.

Awesome!. Great book! Kept me wanting more & more! Loved both characters and how it was done with both perspectives. Can’t wait for the next one!

Blown away by Macalisters Redemption story!!!!. I have had a love/hate relationship with Macalister Hale since The Initiation and seeing him grow into this very dominate presence and change in so many ways over the past 3 books, had me very excited to see what Nikki would have in store for him in his own book. Well, let me just say, she did not disappoint! His story was hot, passionate and tragic all at the same time. I simply loved the dynamics between him and Sophia! Being able to see him as this vulnerable man and also the dominate that I loved/hated from the first three books, was such an amazing balance! It kept me on my toes, not knowing what to expect from chapter to chapter. As their passion engulfed into an inferno, I realized I never knew Macalister was capable of everything I never knew I wanted out of him. His redemption is story is unlike any other I have experienced. With just the right mix of angst and twists mixed into their story, the journey the two go on together was simply remarkable. Bravo Nikki on an amazing tale and turn of events for my favorite love-to-hate villain redeemed!

Win at all cost... I come to love macalistaire in this book than the other books. I loved his story and it’s his redemption, I cried in the end.. ohh goddd I’m inlove with hales.. 😭🤤😍

He’s redeemed!. Love the story and happy with how it ended. My only suggestion would be that I could have done without the piecing. It was gross to me and felt that it painted Sophia in a bad light. Other than that, this was well written.

His redemption was riveting!. I was fascinated by the “villain” Macalister in the first three books of the Filthy Rich Americans series, so when I knew I was getting his story I was elated! After the events in the first three books, Macalister needs back into Boston elite’s good graces. I was intrigued at the beginning with the first meeting of Macalister and Sophia, because she says she can help him. It was the spark and pull between them that got my attention, and as their relationship caught fire and his redemption unfolded I was riveted to the pages. I loved that Sophia loved to get under his skin, test him and push him, but she had vulnerabilities that broke my heart. Macalister was an intoxicating mix of relentless cutthroat billionaire executive who was controlling that demanded excellence from everyone around him, and a man coming undone by a woman who challenged him and a family he realizes he needs to heal because all he ever thought about was himself. Some of the history he revealed about himself to Sophia made me ache for him just like she did. He made me swoon a few times! When the story concludes, Macalister has turned from a villain to a hero at the hands of his equal in Sophia and by what he has learned about himself, and it was a magnificent reading experience. This book took me on an a rollercoaster ride of emotions and twists that had me riveted to the pages and loving it immensely. *I received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review.*

Loved it. I didn’t think that I would like macallister after what the first three books, but Nikki you made him swoon worthy. Audiences like happy endings and I would have like to read about their wedding and future child.

Good redemption. This is my favorite of the series. I get sucked into storylines, but at times previous books made me cringe at his sexual obsession with his soon to be daughter in law. This book was definitely a redemption. I really enjoyed it.

Redemption. Like that you brought warmth to macalister character

So fitting. The title is so fitting. I bought this book before I finished the end of the third one in the series, not realizing that it was a divergent story line, I just knew it would be good; the first three were SO. GOOD. When I realized it was a divergent storyline I was excited but also bummed, I couldn’t imagine how this could compete with the plot twists and direction of the first three, nor how the relational dynamics could compete. At first, I was so excited, found myself giggling. Then we start to see Macalister change and there’s a good portion at the beginning that feels like it slides in to tropes, and doesn’t have the same tension that so perfectly sustained the first three books. But, right about halfway, things start to shift and now, having just finished it and considering it from start to finish, it’s just what this character and his story need. It’s such a wonderful redemption, and it truly is such a delight to feel happiness for him. So worth it. Such a great treatment of a complicated, complex, hurting character, and giving him the chance to find redemption.

Best one in the series. There were definitely parts I liked and disliked from the first three books but this one I loved from start to finish. Macalister really took a turn and it was so refreshing to read. The spice was much better in this book as well! I hope to be as pleasantly surprised with Vance’s story as I was with this one.

Redemption Personified. That was freakin’ amazing. From the first chapter to the last...It was my first introduction to the series but I get why you all were waiting for Macallister. Hell would not be hot enough to describe him...he is absolutely spellbinding. The entire back story of his downfall and prison time frames him as a lonely, hated man. Enter Sophia, the girl with alot of secrets. The characters were incredible in depth and you will easily fall into the story swiping pages to get to the next twist. The age difference did not once occur to me to be inappropriate...it suited them both. But his redemption and rebuilding of himself comes from the red hot scenes with Sophia and her perseverance to win him. He never loses. No he surrendered in a masterpiece ending. This is a book I would read again it was that good. Thankyou for the incredible walk through Macallister’s redemption it is something not to be missed. 💜

Rich and Sensuous. The Redemption is book Four of the Filthy Rich Americans Series by Nikki Sloane and let me just say that this beauty is rich, sensuous, and leaves nothing to be desired! Ms Sloane delivers once again in The Redemption and the tone/ mood is so perfectly Macalister. Told from a dual perspective we finally get insight into what makes Macalister tick. As for Sophia, she is absolutely perfect as a “woman on a mission”; said mission being to help the Phoenix (Macalister) rise from the ashes. The characters are still entangled in the world of Cape Hill, an extremely affluent community just outside of Boston, yet its main player has come back a changed man. Some readers may be delighted to know that this is an age-gap novel, Sophia is half Macalister’s age. And while you might not think Macalister will fall for another young woman, this story doesn’t carry that same tone. The urgency and turmoil readers felt in books one through three dramatically changes in book four. This is really and truly a book about Macalister’s redemption and atoning for his manipulative and sinister ways. Macalister wants his family name to be restored and to wipe the stain he created Leaving the Hale name tarnished so he knows a woman like Sophia is off limits. Yet their chemistry is off the charts hawt and the power exchange is so vastly different that you really do get a sense that Macalister has changed. Maybe not at the very beginning... “… I was desperate to climb back onto my throne and rise above it, rather than play the game with everyone else.“ But in walks Sophia Alby to show Macalister how it’s done. Macalister and Sophia make the PERFECT power couple, age gap aside. So how will Sophia win Macalister over knowing full well he doesn’t want to invite another scandal at his door? Sophia negotiates. Sophia presents Macalister with an arrangement to rebrand the fallen king’s image. A social butterfly, Sophia is a major influencer and promises to change Macalister’s image to reestablish his position at the top of Cape Hill’s elite. And Sophia will attempt all this strictly in a professional capacity. Ha good luck! 😉 What does Sophia get in all this? Well, I guess you’ll just have to pick up the book and find out. Sophia makes great strides with Macalister’s social makeover and every decision made by the blonde bombshell personal assistant humanizes the godlike stature of Macalister. This is truly his redemption. Expect this read to be a little different. Enjoy Macalister’s change in all the best of ways while still being the dominant sexy man he’s always been. I loved this book so much! Hands down Macalister is my favourite character. And while I loved his scenes with Marist in books one through three, I love him even more now. Standing ovation to Ms Sloane for keeping Macalister real and true to who he is while getting at the heart of what makes this man tick. His redemption is the best kind of sweet there is! ❤️
