Juggling the personal and professional, a hot case and a cold case, Decker and McAdams race to find answers, sifting through cabinets of old files, a plethora of clues and evidence, and discouraging dead ends. Never Again!. I didn’t like the Faye Kellerman book I read before this one. I’m not reading them in order and can’t remember the title of that book. I was going to give this book a try to see if the characters and storylines were better. I was thinking this one would be better because of the change in scenery and family dynamics. The Lost Boys had three and a half different storylines. Only one of three crimes were solved. The author sort of summed up a second one, while the third and fourth were just left hanging. This felt like very sloppy or lazy writing. The book itself was repetitive and slow. I have another Faye Kellerman book that I haven’t read. I will not waste my time reading it. I will save my money and time and buy books with better authors.

Weak Ending. Good story line but the ending just ran out too fast for me.
Mystery solved with Intelligence and kindness. Loved the ending but sorry it’s finished. One case neatly wrapped up and the other not so much but that made the story more real. I love that the main characters are smart and kind. Please keep the series going. Thank you.
