Drew me in from the start!. INKED PERSUASION by Carrie Ann Ryan. Well, Ms. Ryan has proved tome that I can love the enemies to lovers trope. This has never been my favorite but this story rocked my boat! Ms. Ryan creates characters that worm their way into the reader’s heart and never leave, and Jacob and Annabelle did just that to me. Their journey isn’t an easy one, with some twists and turns, and some unexpected bums, but I never rooted for a couple more. This start to the series is an awesome one and I look forward to the future tales to come.

Poorly Written. Weak character development. Poor storyline. No depth to the story. He hated her one minute and sleeps with her a few pages later. Not worth reading even as a free book. Not sure why the other reviews are so positive.

Inked Persuasion. Really liked this book about family business, love, loosing someone and finding love again. Wow I did not expect what the almost final chapter brought forward. But again it was a great read . Thank You

Just…. riveting!

Amazing Read. This is the first book in a new series still in the Montgomery series line. Jacob and Annabel so much history between the two misunderstandings and lack of communication between them for many years until they wake up to find out their neighbors now. Even though Jacob vows to never speak to Annabel and wants nothing to do with her the chemistry between them is still there, watching them navigate through these new feelings with a little bit of old ones is captivating. This book captures you right at the beginning and it doesn’t let go! I could not put it down loved it great beginning to another amazing series by Carrie Ann Ryan ..

Must read!. Omg is all I can say! This book is my new favorite and I couldn’t put it down! Can’t wait to read the next books in the series! From enemies to lovers, the entire book was so good! ❤️

Enjoyable read!. This is the first book in the Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins series. This also happens to be my first read by Carrie and I enjoyed it! Annabelle and Jacob’s story gave you all the feels. There’s definitely some history between them that caused tension, but in the end love conquers all. I love the Montgomery family dynamic. The narrators did a really good job. I’ll definitely be reading the rest of the series.

This wonderful enemies to lovers storyline will have you in tears as Annabelle and Jacob fight their chemistry that has been heating up when they reconnect after years of no contact. A fabulous strong start to this new Fort Collins Montgomery’s series. This is the first book in the Fort Collins Montgomery’s series, and it has started with a strong book that we have come to expect from this author. We immediately got to know and love the characters, from the individual siblings to the challenging parents and the strong supportive friends. It didn’t feel like a first book and that we had only just met! This story was full of intrigue and angst, as well as fun, romance and excitement. I have always loved Carrie Ann Ryan’s books, but this new series has started so well, that I just can’t wait to get back to Fort Collins and get to know the rest of the family better!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Fantastic first book. Annabelle is a Fort Collins Montgomery that runs Montgomery building company that was started by her father but is run not by Annabelle and her brothers and sisters. Jacob has moved to Fort Collins to look after his mum and dad but didn’t realise his sister in law is Annabelle’s lives next door. Annabelle love her husband but thing are not what Jacob thinks and he gets a shock when he stars to see her and his family more. Absolutely loved this book, it’s so heartbreaking but forgiving at same time. Carrie Ann Ryan has such a gift to deliver these types of book without them being too depressive. Looking forward to finding out the other brothers and sisters happy ever afters

Annabell and Jacob. Like all Carrie Ann Ryan's book this story has lots of emotions. Annabell and Jacob have lots of history, but not of a romantic nature, they shared the loss of a someone they loved. Now they have to work out their feelings for each other and how they fit into each others busy lives. The Montgomerys are always fun and this new branch of the family leaves us wanting more, I can't wait to see them all find love.

Entertaining. I was excited to learn of the new Montgomery Ink series set in Fort Collins. This is Annabelle Montgomery and her ex brother in law Jacob Queen’s story. Fate often works in mysterious ways and that’s what happens to Anabelle and Jacob when Jacob moves in next door they are shocked to learn that they are neighbours. When Jacob learns the truth behind her marriage to his brother Jonah, he realizes that he may have made some hasty decisions. There is so much baggage lying between them but what will happen when they finally give into the feelings that have always sizzled between them? Outside influences including Jacob’s ex wife Susan will do their best to keep them apart, but it was riveting to watch their relationship grow. The writing is strong as I have come to expect from a novel by Ms. Ryan and the twists and turns certainly added to my enjoyment of the story. The relationship between them is complicated and yet when danger from Jacob’s past rears it’s head, he is determined to do what is necessary to protect Annabelle. I am excited to see what happens next in this latest series from Carrie Ann Ryan.

Another Great Book !!!. This is the start of the Fort Collins - Montgomery’s !!! Annabelle is a widow and her deceased husbands brother hates her. Jacob Queen hates Annabelle for taking away the last moments with his brother. They have chemistry but didn’t Perdue them because his brother was dying. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I received a free copy of this book for an voluntary and honest review.

Another fantastic addition to the Montgomery Ink family. ‘Inked Persuasion’ is book one in Carrie Ann Ryan’s latest Montgomery Ink addition “Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins”. Annabelle Montgomery married her best friend not for love in a romantic way, but as a best friend helping fulfil a dying wish. When Annabelle looses him a few weeks later she is forced into the media spotlight as the grieving widow. So she decides to throws herself into her family business as the architect to make sure she never goes through that same pain and hurt again. Jacob Queen was determined to never see Annabelle again after the way she acted after loosing his brother. He was disgusted and angry with her. Now he is back in Fort Collins to help his parents. But avoiding Annabelle is going to be hard consider she is his next door to neighbour. Once again Carrie Ann Ryan gives us an emotional roller coaster that is going to rip your heart out, stomp on it, break it and then slowly put it all back together. The amount of baggage and history that these two have to deal with isn’t going to be easy to get past especially when outside influences are determined to keep them apart. Be prepared to be swooned, shed some tears, laugh, yell and scream as this book will have you on the edge of your seat biting your nails with anticipation to what is going to happen. The chemistry is off the charts between these two and I loved each and every word from the beginning to the very end. Ms Ryan has done a fabulous job with giving us this beautiful story between friends to enemies, enemies to friends, friends with benefits to more, so much more.

Inked Persuasion. 3 maple leafs… Inked Persuasion is the first book in the Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins series and is an enemies-to-lovers, next-door neighbor romance. Annabelle... An architect who works for her family's business. She married her best friend as his dying wish and lost him just weeks after they were married. Jacob... A lawyer who has returned home to Fort Collins to start over and help his parents while his mother is battling her illness. Annabelle's enemy and brother to her late husband. Story… Jacob returns home to Fort Collins and much to his dismay, his new neighbor is none other than his late brother's widow Annabelle, who he thinks married his brother for all the wrong reasons. Once the truth is out in the open, Jacob and Annabelle fall into a friends with benefits relationship but they are both afraid to go any further. That is until they are ripped apart by jealousy. My thoughts… A good introduction to the Fort Collins Montgomery clan. I am not a huge fan of Jacob and how he constantly jumped to conclusions. Annabelle was a little too timid for me. I did not expect the twist and it made things interesting. Overall I struggled with this one as I did not get the connection with the main characters. Audio... Aaron Shedlock and Emma Wilder did a good job with the narration of the story and brought everything to life.

Sometimes the hard path brings the greatest love!!. My first impressions of Jacob left me wanting to shake the emotionally repressed lawyer. Annabelle on the other hand has an incredible inner strength and passion to help those she loves that immediately drew me in. The heat between them once Jacob starts to understand the real events of the past and the need to protect his future is scorching. Naturally the Montgomery siblings certainly bring that great layer of protectiveness and family love that made me chuckle throughout the book. Such an amazing start to a new series!
