Great read. I loved this story of Steele and Ella and Lucy. Seeing this second chance family work out was great. I couldn’t help but root for them to get back together. Sawyer Bennett did not disappoint and as always you get to see some of the characters fro. Other books and now waiting for Jetts book. Arizona Vengence is a great series and cannot put any of the books down.

Finally getting Steele’s story and it was so worth the wait!. Finally getting Steele’s story and it was so worth the wait! As I read the previous books in this series, we saw the fallout between Steele and his wife Ella. The separation between them really became Ella’s breaking point, and we see that she really struggled with the decision and it took years of consistency on Steele’s part to cause her to make the decision. But when she decides to start dating again, it’s what kick starts Steele to make the changes and work hard to get his wife back. This book was so different from the typical read that I find myself reading because this couple already had their HEA and they’re finding their way back to that in this one. I loved getting to know both Steele and Ella as well as their relationship before and how things changed for them but also how they are moving forward. The book was so comical with input from Steele’s teammates as well as their daughter Lucy, and I found myself really rooting for this couple the entire time. I love this series from Sawyer and I can’t wait for the next player to fall! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Amazing!. This book... was so good! I loved that this whole book was about Jim realizing his mistakes, bettering himself and winning his wife back. It is a refreshing concept that the man is willing to fight for his relationship while being understanding of his wife’s position on the issues in their marriage. Even if you don’t read the rest of the series, I’d recommend giving this book a chance!

To Be Seen.... All Ella Steele wanted, was to be seen. After years of settling for second best, Ella asks Jim to move out. As far as she’s concerned, the separation is one step closer to divorce. They share a child together, a lot of happy memories, and their chemistry is off the charts....but that’s no longer enough. Ella feels “invisible”. While she knows Jim’s job is important to him, she wants to come first every once in awhile. In an effort to move on with her life, Ella starts dating “Mr. Ordinary”. Jim Steele dreamed of making it big as a NHL hockey player. He’s made a good life playing professional hockey, but somewhere along the way he lost what was truly important to him—his wife. It’s not until Jim sees her moving on with her life by dating “Mr. Ordinary”, that he realizes he may have lost what mattered the most to him. In efforts to win Ella back, Jim does a lot of soul searching and realizes just how selfish and neglectful he’s been over the last several years. He also realizes that Ella tried to tell him how unhappy she was, but he just wasn’t listening. So, he comes up with a plan to win back the love of his life. While this wasn’t the most suspenseful book in the series, it was a great second chance read. I loved how Ella didn’t just give in and actually made Jim work at fixing their marriage. Marriage is hard! I liked how neither spoke badly about the other in front of their daughter. I also liked how they didn’t make her choose sides. I enjoyed the glimpses into their past and Jim’s work into bringing the romance back in their marriage. Mistakes were made, but nothing that wasn’t fixable. Awesome story! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Such a sweet, feel good romance. This series is just the best! Sawyer Bennett is always finding a new way to tell a love story. I adored Jim and Ella’s story! After many years married they have now been separated for 6 months. Something finally lights a fire under Jim Steele’s butt and he knows that he needs to do something before it’s too late and he loses his wife Ella forever. This story is so sweet and it’s really awesome how hard Jim fights to get her back. Despite his grueling hockey schedule, he does so much to prove to her that he understands where he went wrong and that he will always make sure she knows he sees her and is putting her and their daughter first. Ella becomes open to the idea when she sees how serious he is and that she decides to go all in with letting him woo her and giving them a chance to see if they can get back to a good place. Burning up the sheets has never been their problem but they both know that is not enough. It’s truly heartwarming to see them both fighting for their marriage. It’s also really cute how their daughter Lucy is all for this and even helps her dad. This is just a really nice feel good story that’s much needed right now. I absolutely loved it!!

Loved it!. 5 Stars Steele by Sawyer Bennett is the ninth book in the Arizona Vengeance series. Even though it is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. All I can say is WOW! You would think, after nine books in a series, it would get stale-but let me just say, that this was my absolute FAVORITE by far. This book was so sweet and completely unputdownable. Steele and Ella were two fantastic characters. Steele has his work cut out for him while trying to get his second chance. Will Ella give it to him? Ms.Bennett has written a series that continues to get better and better! I am a huge sucker for second chance romances and I have to say that I truly loved it. Fabulous writing, amazing characters, and a crazy good storyline made for a story that I highly recommend reading!

Great second chance romance. Steele in a bid to win his wife back, pulls out all the stops in this new Arizona Vengeance novel. A romantic little story with a sexy hero and a beautiful heroine, who are striving to save a marriage. A loved this story and all the feels it brings as Steele and Ella work to repair the damage complacency has caused in their marriage. If you like sweet and sexy then this is a book for you!

Solidly hot second chance romance!. Loved this. Love that it was a long term marriage that hit the skids. Primarily due to negligence. Stayed true to this. 2nd chance sports romance! Hockey, swoon! Teenage daughter was a trip! A man who recognizes what he lost. A woman willing to compromise and realize what she have up! I genuinely loved this story and adore the Vengeance books as a whole. Solid addition to the series! Loved it!

A great second chance. I generally steer clear of books that involve rebuilding a marriage, because they tend to be super angsty, and that isn’t necessarily my cup of tea. HOWEVER, I absolutely devoured this book. It was relatively low angst and I loved how determined Jim was to fight for his family.

Worth it!. I’m a sucker for a second chance storyline and I really enjoyed this one. Steele and Ella have all the chemistry. Add in an alpha male that doesn’t give up and I’m sold. The narration added an elevated element to this book. Absolutely worth the listen.

Steele. I listen to this on audio , and I have listened to every book in this series , and I love all of them but Steele moved into my 1 spot!!!!! It’s a great book about a couple working on their marriage, it’s sweet , funny, and all around good book! Give it a try , you will love Steele and Ella !

Utterly Addictive!. A second chance romance that is all about forgiveness, redemption and finding love again. Filled with romantic overtures, kisses that sizzle and all the little things thrown in for good measure. This was perfection! When James “Steele” see his wife out on a date it shakes him to his core, although she has every right since they are separated. But he also realizes that he still loves her and wants her, so he sets out to win her back. Ella Steele is finally moving on with her life and starting to date again. Maybe she will finally get the attention that she never did in her marriage, since her husband was married to his hockey team more than her. But then after seeing her out on a date he suddenly wants her back, she doesn’t think so! He will have to step it up big time to get her back. This was seriously addicting to read. Steele and Ella were great character that I loved. There was so much tension and animosity between them but this crazy attraction and chemistry as well still. I loved learning their history and what happened between them. I loved Steele, I was rooting for him right from the beginning. I liked Ella a lot and understood where she was coming from and why she made the choices she made. The thing is for as much as they frustrated me with their choices, I loved the build of all the tension and angst as they work through their problems. I loved the soft teasing, that is delicious and deliberate, as well as the absolutely adorable romantic gestures that are so sincere. This couple captured my heart. Provocative, sensual and utterly addictive STEELE once again proves that Sawyer Bennett is a master of romance.

Great second chance romance. Fist you can’t go wrong with this author! Second second chance romance...yes please! Put the two together and you have a guaranteed fabulous read. We are back with the Vengeance and now it’s Steele’s turn. His marriage is on the rocks. His wife has asked him to leave. He’s put hockey and his desires first for way to long. It’s an eye opener for Steele. He takes stock and realizes where he’s gone wrong and that he still loves his wife. Enough so he’s bound and determined to win her back. I enjoyed every moment of this couples road to self discovery even after many years of marriage. It shows that in the end true love will persevere.

Steele. So good.. I love these books in this series.. so great!! I’m on to the next one 💕

Great Read. Steele (Arizona Vengeance #9) was another great read by Sawyer Bennett. Jim is hoping to get the second chance at love with his wife that he wants. He is one of the older players on the Vengeance but he ruined everything with his wife due to his selfishness. He now is separated from Ella and doesn't like seeing her dating a new man. He is having a hard time juggling all the new changes and wants nothing more than to have Ella and his teenage daughter together as a family. I really enjoyed reading Steele and Ella's story and can't wait to read more by Sawyer Bennett.

Sweet. This book is so cute! I love how he wins her back and their sweet daughter helps! Such a sweet story filled with hope!

Loved it. I love my catch ups with the Arizona Vengeance and Steele is a perfect addition to this great series, if you love sports romances in particular Hockey this book should certainly be on your radar. I was captivated with story from the first page to the last line and I really didn’t want this book to end because I have come to look at this team and their partners as friends. James (Jim)Steele is out with teammates when he sees his estranged wife our with a man and that’s just the jolt he needs to make him realise he not only wants his family back, he needs them back..... Jim has spent so much of his life putting his career and hockey first that he forgot his wife Ella and their daughter’s needs and it’s only now he sees the error of his ways so will Ella give him a second chance and will Jim change and put his family before the career he loves..... This is a heartfelt romance that touched me on so many levels, I swooned over Jim as I watched him fight for the woman and daughter he loves, I smiled and at times I held my breath because I really wasn’t sure this book would turn out how I wanted it too, I loved Jim and Ella and as always I loved catching up with the rest of the team. This is the perfect addition to this wonderful series.

A heartfelt story!. Jim Steeles story is the perfect addition to the Arizona Vengeance series and I really really enjoyed it! With marital issues and a child, Jim has had a difficult time! But his wife more so. The way hockey took over their marriage and Jim not paying her enough attention she has sought friendship elsewhere! Jim may be a caring father however he still loves his wife and daughter and will do anything to have them back! This book was heartbreaking to be quite honest and I honestly just wanted a happy ending! Needless to say the words written were wonderful and Ms Bennett really gave their story so much heart! Jim definitely has some big decisions and the support and advice from all on his team is extraordinary!

Enjoyable read. Steele is a most enjoyable read. The life of a Hockey player is intense and tumultuous at times, filled with many challenges- fitness, teamwork, scheduling and family time - balance is integral. When the balance shifts, all aspects are out of alignment. Jim Steele has the task of finding His balance, prioritising the more important aspects over others and fixing his past mistakes.

Loved it. Every time I read a book in the Arizona Vengeance series, it feels like I am coming home to family. Steele is a great addition to what is one of my favorite series from Sawyer Bennett. From the first to the last chapter I was riveted to the story that Sawyer Bennett wove and couldn’t put down. This is James (Jim) Steele’s second chance at love story with his estranged wife, Ella that drew me in and had me captivated from the first to the last word. Jim has spent so much time concentrating on his hockey career that he has left his wife and their relationship behind. Now separated, Jim is a single dad to their teenage daughter and struggling. Shocked to see his wife dating another man, Jim knows he needs to make changes in his life before he loses Ella forever. This was such a an emotional story that I feared at times that the happily ever after might be beyond reach. Jim is so swoon worthy that you cannot help but fall for him and it was heartwarming as he worked so determinedly to bring the love back into his marriage. As always, it was great to catch up on the other couples of the Arizona Vengeance; I love getting updates on what is happening in their lives.
