LOVE Henry & Sophia!!. Loved, loved this romantic comedy saga story of the Aldrich brothers. This is the second book of the Baker’s Creek, Oregon, Billionaire Brothers series about seven half-brothers—this is Henry Aldrich and Sophia Aragon’s story. This is an unputdownable, fun, flirty, and delightful slow-burn story that summed up so succinctly the very essence of romance. This page-turning story completely encapsulates the madness of the first stirrings of love and lust when you can’t get enough of someone, yet they each have challenges they need to face. Sit back and be ready for a crazy ride. I am not kidding, this book was everything. All the things—witty banter, humor, angst, emotions, heartbreak, and all of the steam. And the characters? OMG—talk about Henry Aldrich! In the first book, Henry was portrayed as a number 1 grade alpha-hole, cold-hearted, arrogant, eligible bachelor, handsome, moody, and commanding. Now, in this story, I am swooning over this sexy as hell and protective man who will unmask you. But Henry has met his match—Sophia!! Sophia is Henry’s executive assistant, but she is very close to her family. Despite the tempestuous events at Bake Creek, Sophia takes no crap from Henry!! You will love the interaction between Henry and Sophia—I laughed, cried, and my heart went out to them. It is fortuitous that everyone has to live in the Aldrich mansion in Baker’s Creek, but not Sophia. Soon, however, things begin to fall apart. Feelings and trust are overwhelmed by Henry’s possessiveness, control, and need for revenge because of his father. Henry is enamored with the feisty, sassy, and obstinate beautiful woman. Loving this series!. I am so loving this series! Each story brings more and more things to love about the town of Baker's Creek and the Aldridge brothers. This is Henry and Sophia's story.  Working together for years, this powerhouse duo has made Henry's company thrive. But working as Henry's assistant, Sophia wants more. Henry's upbringing has made him the man he is now.  He thinks he has everything he wants, but does he really?  And the lengths that he goes through to make sure Sophia is able to take care of her parents is nothing short of swoony and shows he is capable of a love that will be brilliant.  You get more of the mystery of why the elder Aldridge created this complicated and convoluted last will and testament.  You also get glimpses of the reasons why he did. This story is a perfect blend of heart, heat and a dash of laughter! 

Swoon!!. I think I might be addicted to the Aldridge family. This is only the second book of the series but I already feel like I need the rest of the family's stories like right now. In book one, I wasn't Henry's biggest fan. He's bossy and standoffish. But I knew that there had to be more than meets the eye. His book showed that that's absolutely true. Sophia is the BEST!! I loved her in book one. She's the glue that's going to keep this craziness together and she's holding everything down. She's the who makes things happen. She's so much more than an assistant and learning that Henry 100% knows that made me so happy. I really didn't think Henry would be one that would bring the swoon but wow, did he. There are so many twists in this story and I just couldn't get enough. I am so curious about how the Aldridge's are going to help Baker's Creek thrive and grow as a family. I am already impatient for the next brother to get his HEA!

A Moment Like You. A fun, easy read for a quiet day. Even though the plot was not very realistic, I liked the characters and the humor. Recommend the book. HO 6/14/21

Sweet and fun read!. You could say A Moment Like You by Claudia Burgoa was an office romance with a touch of enemies to lovers, but it was a bit more as well. It also involves family dynamics as the brothers learn to interact and open up to each other. Henry, one of the Aldridge brothers, needs to go home for a specific amount of time and he is taking Sophie, his assistant with him. Sophie is not sure how she feels about this but begins to see a different side of her boss. Sophie is smart, caring and is not afraid to go toe to toe with Henry. Henry’s life was not an easy one. He can be reserved and stubborn. But as the story unfolds, lines begin to blur. The story is a bit angsty, but also steamy and fun. Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog. Happy reading!

A wonderful five star read. Oh my this book was so awesome. I adore Claudia’s books and this one may now be my new favourite. This is book 2 in a new series and wow Henry and Sophie are good. Henry is an alpha billionaire hotel mogul and Sophie is his assistant and you see them in book 1 with sparks but in their own book they set it on fire. Henry is so much and more and Sophie keeps him on his toes and they had me laughing out loud at times. A wonderful book which five stars don’t seem enough. I am loving this series so far and can’t wait for the next book.

Entertaining. The second book in the latest series from Claudia Burgoa and it was as entertaining as the first book and it can be read as a stand alone. A Moment Like You is Henry and Sophia’s story and is heart warming and also a bit of an emotional roller coaster of a read. I enjoyed the humour, camaraderie and banter between Henry and Sophia. Henry is a stubborn man but Sophia is just the woman to keep up with him. Will Sophia be able to break down the walls that Henry’s up-bring created and in doing so open them both up to a chance for love and happiness? The characters were entertaining and the story was well written. Angsty at times and heart warming it made me laugh and brought tears to my eyes.

Witty entertaining read. 4.5 Stars for A Moment Like You ( The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers #2) This may be the second book in the series but it can certainly be read as a stand-alone although I’m sure once you have meet one Aldridge you will want to meet the rest of these swoon worthy brothers. This is Henry and Sophia’s story and it’s a entertaining, heartfelt, emotional roller coaster of a read. Henry doesn’t have relationships on his mind, he is a stubborn man who has built walls around himself so he could survive the broken family he comes from and when he needs to move back the small town his father called home he drags Sophia his PA with him. Sophia may have thought her boss was the devil in disguise but spending time with him in a small town has feelings she has never felt before coming to the surface but can she break the walls down and get Henry to open up to some fun. This book ticked all my boxes, it’s well written, entertaining with adorable characters, the banter is witty and funny and it has the perfect mix of passion, humour and angst. I highly recommend this gem of a read and I’m excited for book 3 in the series.
