The Ghostly Ground. It was a fun read. I loved Boo.

The ghostly grounds. A cozy read. After HGTV I found the opening of the B and B a little too easy. But still a nice story.

Romantic Mystery. Loved the development of the characters; especially Marie who went from accepting where she was in life to forging a new life, the life she’d always wanted, with a bit of help from her great aunt June. Starting a new business, ghost hunting, romance, and a “who dunnit” murder mystery round out Marie’s new and very full life, along with figuring out June’s “surprise.” Fun & delightful book which was a pleasure to read. A Ghostly Whodunnit. A great ghost story -murder mystery with lots of suspects to keep the pages turning fast. Add a clever resident dog to the mix and this book is a real winner.

Really enjoyable paranormal mystery.. The main character inherited her weird aunt’s unusual house and wanted to make it into a bed and breakfast. She had very limited funds and had too many projects to complete. A paranormal investigator rented a room and began filming. He had what he thought was a ghost on film and without asking permission from the owner, posted it on TikTok with the owner’s name and the name of the bed and breakfast. Suddenly, the place was book with ghost enthusiasts. There was a murder and a retraction about the ghost causing people to cancel their reservations. I really enjoyed this book with the many directions it took.

Sloooooowwwww. It took over half the book to get to the murder. Then the rest just happened. Maybe the next book would be better cause there wouldn’t need to be this long drawn out history to be told. But I won’t be reading any to find out.

Cute. Well-written and enjoyable cozy. However: ***POSSIBLE SPOILERS*** Marie makes a point about being honest to honor Aunt June and should release video, but in the video she’s not honest, taking responsibility for something she didn’t do.

What an amazing start to the series!. I’m hooked! Right from the very start, too! The characters are likable and real. The dog, Boo, is as sweet as can be and very sensitive to things around him. So cool! I loved how things played out regarding the murder. And what a way to die...yikes!

Who do you think did the deed?. I really liked the mystery and turns in the story line of this book. It held my interest to the very end.

Ghostly grounds murder and breakfast. I’m not a big fan of ghostly stories, however, I picked up this book and then couldn’t put it down. Ther was a lot of suspense, drama, and ghostly sightings. A murder was also included. A very pleasant read.

Thoroughly Delightful. Thoroughly delightful beginning to a series I look forward to continuing. The setting is fun and picturesque, the characters are fun and interesting. Just enough mystery and relationship issues to keep a reader doubly-intrigued, and minimum of violence. The dog is a great addition and adds a fun twist to the story.

Ghostly mystery & adventure. Loved this book! Marie takes us on a fun exploration when she loses her beloved Great Aunt and is left an inheritance in the Victorian home that seems to possibly have spirits remaining from its past.. this and a dog named Boo Can’t wait for more!

Haphazardly written. There is a mystery sister in the first chapter that never shows up again, even at a family funeral. There are adjectives and adverbs used twice in the same sentence, and three times in the same paragraph. It was ok, I’m just surprised this author has written so many books, when it comes off like a novice was dabbling at writing.

Great read!. This book is light and dark all swirled together! The plot twists like the roads of a quaint ocean town and is an absolutely delight to read!
