Review: Orchid Valley 0.5: Every Little Promise. Every Little Promise by Lexi Ryan is a prequel novella that introduces her new series, Orchid Valley . A story of childhood friends and lovers, separated by ten years and social class, an appearingly random run-in in Vegas leaves two hearts in tatters and filled with indecisiveness. Second chances do happen - but will Brinley & Marston take full advantage of theirs or squander ita way? Emotional, powerful, well-written and well-paced especially for an introduction and novella length story. Loved it! Enjoy!

Can I give it 5++++ stars?. Every Little Promise promises to be a great prequel to an amazing series for sure! I love second change stories. Marston and Brinley are just that. They fell in love at a young age and there were so many things going against them. Fast forward 10 years and they come face to face again. One night in Vegas and one night together hoping for a 2nd chance. Oh be still my heart!! Lexi has such a way of making me just want more. I've read every one of her books and she has never let me down!! I cannot wait to read what happens to Marston & Brinley in Every Little Piece of Me. I'm rooting for their HEA!!! Its going to be a great series!!!!

Love This Second Chance Love Story. I loved Every Little Piece of Me by Lexi Ryan, the first book in the Orchid Valley series. I could not put it down. Who does not love a second chance-opposites attract love story. I fell in love with the main characters in Every Little Promise and really enjoyed the entire cast of characters that joined them in this book. Lexi Ryan is a wonderful storyteller and Every Little Piece of Me is an incredible story. I am looking forward to reading more of her books, especially more in the Orchid Valley series. I love that the book is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight from both sides. The characters are all so relatable. Every Little Piece of Me, starts off where Every Little Promise ended, which is included in the book, in case you did not read it. Every Little Piece of Me is the story of Brinley Knox, single mother and poor little rich girl who is trying to make a name for herself and become a fierce independent woman and Marston Rowe, her first love from the wrong side of town, who has make a name for himself in his career. The story starts six months after Ever Little Promise ends with Marston receiving a wedding invitation to Brinley's marriage to Julian Hallison. I love Marston's response to Alec, when he shows him the invitation, "All I know for sure if my wife is getting married and has incited me to her wedding". I love that quote. Marston ends up returning to Orchid Valley, a place I am sure he never planned on returning, and confronts Brinley. Again the story takes place in the current time and uses flashbacks to when they first fell in love as teenagers. It was a great way to learn so much about their relationship. Brinley commits herself to marrying Julian, days after returning from Vegas, unaware of the fact that she and Marston got married. Brinley's memories of the night are very fuzzy because of a mix of anti-anxiety medication and alcohol. Marston confronts Brinley with the news of their marriage, and she believes that she was drunk. He returns her diamond ring to Brinley since they are still married. He explains he reasons for not contacted her about their marriage before then. He was afraid she would end their marriage. Her marriage to Julian, will be a marriage of convenience, she wants to get control of a trust her grandfather left her, so she can buy The Orchid. The only way to get control of the trust before turning thirty is to marry a man her parents approve of. Brinley believes that Julian needs to be married to purchase an apartment complex that the owner will only sell to a married couple. The truth eventually comes out that what was a business transaction to Brinley was a personal relationship to Julian. As the story unravels, Julian gets jealous of her relationship with Marston and shows his true colors, and Marston sends her a video from their wedding. Marston finds out that Brinley is a single mother and confronts her, only to discover that Cami is not his child. I love all the bittersweet and poignant moments that Lexi Ryan included in Every Little Piece and the surprise plot twists that happen throughout the story. My favorite part was how Brinley found out the reason she decided to marry Marston that night when they were in Vegas. It was a beautiful memory. I love that Brinley got a backbone and was able to stand up to not only her father, Abraham, and Julian, but also to Marston. In the end she became the fierce independent woman that she always knew she could be. I am so happy that Brinley and Marston got their happily ever after. It was a wonderful story with all the feel good moments and hot romance. I am so looking forward to Every Sweet Revenge, Stella and Kace's story.

Captivating Book. I just love Lexi Ryan books. Her books pulls me in and keeps me captivated and intrigued. I fall in love with her characters and how their stories start and end.

Every Little Promise by Lexi Ryan. This is one more book that will have you panting to read the continuation of Brinkley & Marston’s love story, introduced in the prequel of the Orchid Valley series! Lexi Ryan never disappoints readers & this new series is just another example of her skill in creating such believable characters & events! Although their love begins as troubled teenagers & endures in each of them after years of separation, they meet again. What happens after that is what this novel is about! Fun, emotional and steamy! Loved it!. Every Little Promise by Lexi Ryan is a surprise release and a prequel to Every Little Piece of Me coming in May. I absolutely loved getting a taste of what’s to come in Brinley and Martson’s story. It was a bit of a tease of what’s to come that was fun, emotional and steamy. We see a bit of how they met and fell in love years ago. Young love with so much promise and how they meet again years later. And nothing has changed between them and yet we get the sense there are still so many obstacles between them. But Martson knows one thing, Brinley is his and it’s time to show her. I cannot wait for their full story! Happy reading!

Loved it but hate the way it ended!. Great storyline and characters! Ups and downs and sweet reunion but I don’t like the ending.

Interesting. It keeps you wondering about if there’s any chance that they will get a happy ending.

So excited for this new series!. So excited for this new series! I was so excited when Lexi let us know that she was creating a new series, and even more excited when she surprise released this novella as a prequel to it! While it gave us some backstory, it totally left me with a lot of questions I’m dying to get answered in the first book. We meet Brinley and Marston, who meet as teenagers and are essentially from opposite sides of the track. Brinley is the rich girl while Marston is the bad boy, and they have a chance meeting that sparks their relationship that’s provided in flashbacks. Focusing in the present tense is the pair meeting up after years apart where they also lost contact, and seeing how things have drastically changed for each other. I’m so excited and interested to see where this storyline turns during the full novel! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Good love story. Nice prequel. Definitely want to read the whole book.

Ticked all my boxes. I love single parent romance so this book was always going to be on my radar but it was so much more than I expected, it captivated me from the first page and there was no putting down until I had read the final line. So please take my advice and make sure you have to time to finish this book because there will be no putting down once you start Kace and Stella’s story. Kace is a single dad who believes he still wants his ex wife but the ex is determined to get him to move on with his life and she sets him up on a dating site. Stella has been around Kace all her life, he is her brothers best friend and she is also best friends with his sister so the feelings she has for this man have been well hidden but maybe now it’s time to let Kace know how she really feels. Two people having fun texting without realising who is at the other end of the text help make this a entertaining, fun read but it was the chemistry and the banter Kace and Stella shared that took this book to another level. I loved everything about this book and I highly recommend it.
