Awesome read!!!. Then He happened is such a great story. From the moment you read the first couple of sentences you are hooked. In this book we read the story of playboy Jason and do gooder Eileen. They could be anymore opposites but you know what they say opposites attract. Eileen the ever “fixer” in her family is sick and tired of being the person everyone looks for to clean up messes. Jason the typical playboy that longs to be in a committed relationship but too scared to try. Thrown them in to plan a shotgun wedding and we see sparks fly. I definitely give this book a 5!starvrating and highly recommend it. Great job to this author. Another hit!!!

‘then he happened.’. okay i actually love this book. i love the vocabulary, the description, the emotion, the excitement. i loved it, but there is alot of flashacks and they get confusing, if im honest i had to skip through some. they do add to the story but i dont think theyre all that important. they also need a warning before, so that were more aware of what’s happening. but overall i love this book

Then He Happened. Jason Spearman, who we met in Maybe later, is Jack's younger brother, and Eileen McBean meet under less than ideal circumstances. Jason's deadbeat cousin Marek , and Eileen's spoiled ,flaky sister Charlie, find themselves expecting a baby, and Jason and Eileen are sucked into planning their shotgun wedding. Both Jason and Eileen are the walking wounded. Ten years ago Jason was left brokenhearted at the alter with a church full of guests. Eileen is the middle child. She's brilliant, has two degrees, and is about to graduate with her doctorate! None of that is important to her parents. She's taken advantage of by her family, expected to clean up her sister's messes, and generally ignored by her family. She is expected to plan her sister (bridezilla's) wedding, which happens to be on her birthday. Her birthday always manages to turn into a disaster, most times with her family not even acknowledging it. As Jason and Eileene dive into planning the wedding they run into some road blocks, but manage to work around them. The longer they work together, the more comfortable they are together. They both have a quirky sense of humor, and love 80's songs. They become friends. I love Claudia's books, one minute she has you tearing up, the next minute you are cracking up. I have loved meeting the two Spearman brother. There is one more brother to go, I hope we get to know him too!

Then he Happened. Not sure of story at the beginning. Was to slow, but I kept reading hoping it would come together. The family with the spoiled, daughter. How she was enabled by her mother and of course her sister, so sad. Did like The “He” in story and of course the ending. TY

Eeh. Not really a deep story. Good plot, but just not fleshed out enough. I felt there where holes in the story, like there should be more to it. Stopped in the middle the flow just stopped.

So believable….. I read it in a couple hours and felt like it happened to me, I loved it . Now to read more, who is this author?

Then He Happened. This is another very good book by this author. It’s about family including the good, the bad and the ugly and, through support of someone who sees the true you, if you’re lucky maybe you too can find that person who is your HEA.

Ok. I like this book to a certain degree. The pace is awkward at best. If you’re going to do a flashback then at least warn the reader so their not confused on what is going on. There were multiple times that I was lost reading this book and multiple times I wanted to stop. The only reason I didn’t is because I wanted to see if she would stand up for herself or just stay in the corner like a little mouse and be ran over continually by her family. It could be better. There’s a part in the book where it goes from the wedding to Eileen meeting Jason’s family on a random Sunday (before or after the wedding, no idea) then back to the wedding with no warning! It’s confusing!

Loved it!. This is the second rom-com story that Claudia Burgoa has written, and what can I say—I LOVED IT!!! This is definitely one of the greatest ones I have read so far. It is fun, witty banter, embarrassingly hilarious situations, lots of steeeamy romance, and moments of heartbreak. I found myself at times laughing so hard and other times using profanity at one character that my husband thought I had lost it a bit. Jason Spearman is a very handsome playboy, who was considered to be cold-hearted, but there was a reason why after what he went through, but actually he is very charismatic, charming, uses facetious remarks, and he definitely was not ready for a committed relationship and to fall in love. Eileen McBean is twenty-six, a physical therapist, and graduating with her PhD degree on her birthday. Her family treats her like a long lost child. When you meet her older sister, Charlie, you will understand why I used profanity. Eileen met Jason at her parent’s home, where he was in attendance to help his cousin Marek, the groom, and a world class disaster. Eileen and Jason gets railroaded into planning a wedding of no return for her certifiable sister—the bridezilla! That’s enough to drive anyone crazy. Read about Eileen and Jason’s journey while planning this bridezilla wedding, and how they each have their imperfections to deal with but their journey makes them realize that they can overcome anything and any impediments. You get a chance to see the progression of their love. Claudia Burgoa’s books will be salacious with an engrossing love story, interesting plots and dialogues with strong conflicts, artfully developed main characters, and they will keep you reading to the end to find out what happened—they will pique your interest and drawn you in. The storylines are fluid, and they will pique your interest. HIGHLY recommend this book.

Then He Happened. I read so many books, sometimes I forget the authors and how they write, and accidentally choose another one. This one evidently loves the “F” word because she uses it a lot. I got to page 59 and quit.

Good interesting story of growth and love. A good story. I got a little confused on the timing of some of the chapters and would have liked to hear that her mom & dad grew up too, but they were probably too self absorbed to do that. Sounded like Charlie made great strides and that was good. I wish them their happy ever after.

Not my HEA. This author is great at storytelling. Not disappointed in this one. Only thing I’d change is a paragraph to maple it my HEA.

Intensely Relatable. This story was unexpected but so realistic and easy to relate to characters. I devoured this book in just 2 days and enjoyed every minute!

5 stars. The author did a brilliant job chronicling the development of the relationship between the main characters. The relationship described had depth and heart. This wasn’t just a collection of sex scenes. It took a lot of talent, imagination, and experience to create such interesting, complex characters. Loved the humor and wit of the conversations between the love interests!

Beautiful. What a beautiful story. Eileen the sister of the bride and Jason the grooms cousin are in charge of organising the wedding from hell but during that horrendous time comes the most beautiful of friendships. Jason isn’t over the incident that broke his heart and Eileen is the middle child who is never seen but they see get other. Claudia is a master in emotionally beautiful stories and this one certainly delivered with you laughing one moment and in the next moment you are crying.

Ticked all my boxes. I read this book a while ago and after listening to Jason Clarke and Emma Watson bring the charts life I remembered why I loved this story so much. The narration was just perfect . Jason and Eileen are pushed together when they agree reluctantly to plan a wedding for Jason’s cousin Marek and Eileen’s spoiled sister Charlie, not only is Jason helping to plan the wedding he is also funding it because no one else has the money to give bridezilla Charlie the wedding she feels she deserves. Both Jason and Eileen have had some bad hands dealt them in their past, Jason was left at the altar and Eileen has always been pushed aside by her family and has always lived in her sister Charlie’s shadow so love and marriage is the last thing they believe in but as always these two will put their own believes aside to try and make the wedding day perfect for the bride and groom....... I loved watching 2 strangers become friends and eventually lovers as this story unfolded, the banter was witty and flowed naturally as these two bonded over wedding plans. Characters with depth and who are easy to love as well as a story that’s easy to relate too all helped make this witty book an very enjoyable read. Loved Jason and Eileen, loved the banter and I loved the plot. The narrators had me falling in love once again.

Confusing. The story was good but it felt like some of the chapters were out of order as it kept skipping around without logic or warning

Then He Happened. Review It was entertaining story, on the crazy side . This storyline took away from romance . Both of them are middle child so they have this needs to please everybody,so they are “abuse”by the family. This book as funny it is was driving me bunkers. Jason and Eileen must organize wedding for her Bradzilla sister and his Artist cousin and during this 2 week process they find out frendship and romance. So much deserved by this great couple . This is my volunteer review
