Bob's Bride by Kirsten Osbourne Book Summary

Tired of working with her ex-boyfriend—especially one who's now marrying her younger sister—Tessa Stanton realizes it's time for a change. Inspired by her best friend, she resigns from her teaching job and contacts Dr. Lachele at Matchrimony, hoping to marry a stranger. What better way to completely change her life and find love?

Bob Cauldron has ranching in his blood. As the oldest of six grandchildren helping their grandfather run their generations-old ranch, he takes the responsibility seriously when Pops insists they marry and have children of their own. Bob contacts a matchmaker, hoping she can find him someone he can tolerate. But after one look at Tessa, he knows falling in love won't be the problem—he just needs to convince Tessa of that.

Will they come to a consensus on how a marriage should be run? Or will they split after their year-long marriage contract has expired?

Juvenile. The characters were juvenile. I wanted to love it but what was meant be quirky and humorous, came across as cringey instead.

Bob’s Bride. Short, sweet and to the point. I really enjoyed the short.

Loved it!!. It was a great story, I loved it!!

An interesting short story, to short for an intro book.. I didn’t really enjoy this story though its a bit unrealistic. I realize that this is book one of a long series, but not enough time was spent on character development.

Yikes. I’m 4 chapters in and I gotta put this down. Somehow Bob goes to college and has theoretically dated as an adult man… but has NO concept of a modern relationship? And acts like he’s only ever seen antiquated gender roles in a relationship? He’s so matter of fact about his expectations… Like it’s alarming and off-putting. It doesn’t make sense. I’m confused. None of this is charming.

Cute story. The story was beautiful and interesting. A couple is arranged to get married and the story is about how they fell in love.

Short but cute. This book was short but has a cute story and was a nice read for me. I enjoyed it and will purchase more from this author.
