Our Family Loved It!. My one-year-old and three-year-old loved reading about Amos and it brought smiles to both of their faces. We had a great discussion about being home and what it means for people to be safe during these times. So thankful for this book!

Comfort for kids & parnets alike. RIW is outstanding in so many ways. The approach it takes to explain our current situation is light, but in no way undermines the serioussness of the matter. Amos’ mother speaks to him with patience, doesn’t candy coat or withhold anything. She gives him space and time to process it all. And then the Rainbows come! The illustartions and rhyme and verse of RIW reminds me of the books and PBS television shows I grew up with, which challenged me and even scared me a little, but in a curious, mind expanding way. They had a big impact on who I am and what I do. I’m sure RIW will do the same for the kids of this generation. It is a delightful plate of throwback comfort food for this big kid from the 80’s and much needed at this uncertain time. Thanks Yumi!
