Fast read. Book was a pleasant read even though at time you had to go back and review the text you had just read.

Not appealing. A sociopathic killer with few if any redeeming qualities (as best one can tell), is being hunted by other sociopathic killers. It’s some sort of revenge thing. This allows the protagonist sociopath the opportunity to kill lots of people. No remorse. No introspection. Lots of dead bodies. The end.

Eddie’s Boy. Waste of money. No real story. Just a history of his childhood. Do not recommend.

Short N Sweet. Masterful suspense and excellent action sequences both past and present. Readers be warned—you might feel guilty rooting for the survival of a cold-blooded and deadly Mafia hitman!

Unputdownable!. Although the main character was a stone cold killer, a criminal in his own right, the reader is sympathetic to his plight from the first page of the novel. Especially enjoyable are the stories recalled by “the boy” of his and Eddy’s escapades as killers for hire. “Eddy’s Boy” is a captivating read leaving the reader wanting more.

Excellent mystery. Perry and the Butcher’s Boy never disappoint.. I really appreciate how clean Thomas Perry keeps his novels. Perry doesn’t need profanity or sex to keep his readers engaged. He is brilliant.

Another Excellent Butchers Boy Installment. I have loved the Butcher’s Boy since it was first published, and have followed the series, as well as all of Perry’s work, for decades. This story gives deep insight and background on a stone killer, and how he becomes an efficient, methodical hit man. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and I believe you will too!
