Hasty. Read like unfinished draft rather than polished publication.
Excellent. Enjoyable read. Often very true to life. Didn’t want to put the book down!
Not impressed. I used to LOVE Danielle Steel. This was so difficult to get into and it was not a page turner. I’m disappointed that I actually paid for this.

Love and hope survives. The book is definitely a Danielle Steel book. Realistic, heartwarming, a little gushy but emphasizes that love and hope can overcome just about anything ♥️
Concerned. It appears that there might be too many cooks in the kitchen or too many writers. Whoever is putting the parts together is not reading it to see if it makes sense. A description is given and then repeated 4 pages. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Disappointing.
Not my favorite, by far. I usually love Danielle Steel books...this one was dull and left me unsure about buying the next one.

The Affair. I have always loved reading novels by Danielle Steel. The way her female characters are strong and resilient, but still persevere! The Affair was a novel very close to my heart 🥰. Any author that can take you within the pages and have you laugh, cry and able to relate to life experiences is a PHENOMENAL WRITER!! Kudos and continued blessings 🙏🏽to you….Danielle Steel!
Interesting characters. The ending doesn’t live up to the integrity of the character descriptions. The protagonist’s final decision doesn’t align with her journey. Too easy.
Bland and boring. Her novels for the past several years lack depth of characters. Everyone is the same, beautiful, successful, rich... what has happened to her writing? Her novels used to be interesting.
The affair. OK - I bit and bought this book - it is just awful - I do not understand how she can write really wonderful historical books and then spin out this kind of trash. Do yourself a favor - get this from your library, if at all, but don’t buy it.
Worst book by Danielle Steele. Boring! I could skip pages and not miss anything of importance. Hated the ending.
