Too political for RomCom. Really lost me with the liberal political agendas shoved in my face the entire book. Good story line but too much garbage on top of it. Lost momentum in the last fourth of the book.
Awfully Woke but I loved it anyway. This is a very well written book. Shay and Dominic are well crafted characters and the book is hard to put down if you can overlook the wokeness of Seattle, it’s location. This is the second book of Solomon’s that I’ve read and I look forward to a third.
Unexpectedly great book. Unexpectedly great book, it was the best book I’ve read in a while. Great story.
A fun read, especially if you’re a fan of NPR!. The story was witty, characters relatable, and there were lots of dorky NPR references that I loved. A great escape, and enjoyable read.
A good *romance*. Stop Calling EVERYTHING A Romcom Well-written. Mostly about how Shay’s dad died when she was a teen. Haha, right?
