I love how hard Clint worked to make Maria see she was worth loving. I love Ms. Oran’s books. She has the best characters, great towns and unique plots. This book kept me reading well into the night because I could not put it down. Sure, I knew they would get their HEA, but I wanted to see how that was accomplished.

Loved this story. Fifty-some year old mom––her mindset still on being wife, mom, housekeeper, cook, adviser, and problem-solver––runs off to avoid an issue she'd rather not deal with and comes face to face with another. Clint had been pining for her for years. He follows her to Indigo Bay and proceeds to show her what she means to him. (He's a keeper!)

She’s back to living on the ranch with 4 of her sons, who are grown and starting to look forward to their lives as men. Yet Clint won’t give up on her. Will they be able to overcome her reservations? What will her sons think? This is a sweet romance that reflects what many older women feel. I enjoyed it very much.
