Very good read!. Reminds of of fantastic beasts/ Harry potters. Anyone who likes the two mentioned above will enjoy this series. Overall, I’m very happy with this first book. I look forward for the second one.

Brilliant Storytelling. All of Ms. O’Russell’s books are wonderful, and this one is no exception. She creates a world that you can just dive into and you are completly immersed in it.

It Kept Me Riveted. I downloaded the book for free, because it sounded like something to relieve boredom. But it drew me in, right from the beginning. I fell asleep, still reading. I woke up, and went right back to it. Could NOT put down. Now, I NEED to get the next book!

Very well written. I couldn’t put my phone down! I read the whole thing in a day. It demanded my attention.

Such a exciting read!. The excitement builds as Em comes back to rescue her childhood friend, Jacob, who learns about his unknown magical powers. Soon, their world changes as bad wizards/witches fight for control of the human world. You’ll have to continue with the series to find out what happens.

Great start to the series!. I thoroughly enjoyed this series! The world building was great. I loved the cast of characters but Clare was my favorite. The pacing was a bit slow for me but I think it’s because I was just so invested in the story I needed to know what would happen. I’m not completely sure what the tethering actually had to do with the whole story but it made for a sweet romance underlying arc. Overall, it was action packed, edge of your seat, worthy of devouring.
