Scorpion’s Tale. I was desperate for a good read. I took a chance on this book based on some previous ones. It is one of the few books that I couldn’t put down. It won’t win awards but it will be well worth your money. It reads easy. Give it a shot.

Very good read. It has a slow start but it gets better. The details are amazing and I liked the wrap up at the end of the book.

Slow start, Quick ending, easy see through plot. Nice and fun story. Pretty short though. But it was very clear what the main plot was, and who-done-it, by the middle of the story. Some suspense. Some excitement. But the end was so abrupt it left me seriously wondering why it’s so well rated. A small surprise at the end didn’t help it at all either.

Preston & Child score big again. Scorpion’s Tail is a wonderful read - the story builds steadily in anticipation of the climax. The characters are 3 dimensional and interesting. By the end you care very much about what will happen and who will survive. Thank you to an exceptional writing team for another treasured tome.

The Scorpion’s Tail. Engrossing with perfect charactiers - a dynamic ending with the good guys winning. Corrie and Nora are exceptional characters and would love to see them work together again.

Great read. Great storyline. History and geography described in a way to want to google them all! I love the characters Corrie and Nora. Females I can relate to. None of the usual wink and nod gals.

Good fun. I read one of their books years ago and really got involved with it. Good characters involved in an interesting story. I remember enjoying certain chapters that made you feel you were there with the characters. I am sure Roadside is booked by them but I’m not sure… I am sure I will be reading more of them. This is a quick read with interesting characters with a treasure hunt! Plus the FBI and a sheriff that totes six shooters! Lots of fun. Recommend.

Great page turner. Incredible book with many twists and seemingly random characters that take on a life of their own. Couldn’t get enough, as always really good tie in at the end. Love his writing style and binge read till the end!

I could not put this book down!. When you start reading The Scorpion’s Tail you had better have a light schedule as you won’t want to do anything else until you finish this intriguing story. The facts behind the story were well researched and accurate. Even the geography was accurately described.

Scorpions Tail. As with every Preston and Child book, I want to place the world on hold until I devour every word. All their books are exciting and intriguing. I always wait impatiently anticipating their next book. Please keep them coming!

Great book as always by Preston and Child. Very good read that he’s my interest through the whole book. Love the history associated with this as well.

Treasure aplenty. Great fast paced read complete with fabled antiquities but an abrupt ending that left much unfinished. Bring on the next chapter.

A good Book. It’s very engaging with unexpected twists in the story line. However there are numerous extraneous tangents adding little or nothing to the plot other than to demonstrate extraneous knowledge the authors chose to insert throughout.

Typical Preston and Child!. As is typical with every novel written by Preston and Child, the Scorpions Tail is a well thought out, tightly woven story with exquisite detail. I seriously doubt anyone would question the entertainment value of yet another exceptional novel. Well done!
