Worst book I ever read. I downloaded this one and the second edition because they were free and I like mystery books, however this has got to be the worst book I ever read. I’m not even gonna try to read the second one. Dumb characters and even dumber storyline.

Rambles and drags. rambles

Book better than audio. It was an easy read. Prefer the book to the audio.

No witches involved. In the end you can see how it ties together, but it’s a very slow start, very disjointed, characters that really don’t need to be there, and not a witch in sight. That being said, it’s a quick read and fairly entertaining whodunnit. However I will not be reading more of the series.

Lose Your Job, Dump Your Boyfriend…. I came upon the second book in the series first (and found it fun and intriguing) and hunted for the series debut (which made me even more enthusiastic about Alexis’ adventures in a new town and new job, and making new friends! She keeps finding murder victims and becoming the first suspect! But there are other mysteries to be solved! Very well written and beautifully descriptive!

The Witching Place book 1. I enjoyed this book very much. I loved Lex and her story, her new friends, town and her job and the bookstore. It’s a very good solid book. I’m looking forward to learning more about her father. Thank you for writing this Series.

Great read. Fast and fun

A very interesting book.. I really enjoyed this book but it did kinda drag through the beginning. After that it got interesting. I would recommend this book to those who like cozy mysteries.

A nice read. Love the characters and the descriptions of the small town. Not too complicated twists and turns but enough to keep you engaged and curious.

What a a great setting for Murder!. I loved the quirky town. Unlike some books that begin in Boston, this author understands Massachusetts. But that’s not important. Reading and enjoying the book is what’s important 😁

The witching place. Pretty good mystery but left some loose ends; the steel door, the man in the long black coat, etc. I did appreciate your vocabulary. You even used a word I had to look up! It would have been nice to know more about Carrie and Noah but maybe that will come in another book. Thanks, G

A new start. A small town with mysteriously old fashioned people. A friendly place by the sea where casie thought she might have a fresh start in life and find her missing father . A murder with a surprising twist. It was an intriguing read and kept me going till early in the morning.I need to read more!

The Witching Place: A Fatal Folio. Sophie Love Y. The Witching Place: A Fatal Folio 4/10 Poorly written story where characters say and do improbable things. I enjoyed the storyline of a girl whose bookstore-owner father disappears, who dreams of opening her own bookstore... but then the way she doesn’t even notice all the witch names in the town Incanton... the cartoonesque characterisations... the way Montgomery wants to take her back as an employee when she’s proven herself to be untrustworthy...

COVID escape at its finest. This book took me away from my family i am suffering lockdown with, and to a place of sea breezes and community. Not a quick read-and-forget, but rather a new friendship to build on.
