Series starter in 1970’s Liverpool, this book follows a young undercover detective, Steven , once a constable but offered undercover detective position after a harrowing car crash involving the loss of loved ones , which involves a move to London and an assumed identity Steve Regan for infiltration purposes….. A truly gripping thriller that is so immersive , you get a real feel of the era and what a young cop of that time is faced with. An intriguing masterpiece of realistic and creative storytelling that is well structured and has good narratives. I was hooked from the beginning.
