I like the approach. I like the approach of studying NDEs like scientific experiments and questions. It did feel like he repeated himself many times in this book. It is also more evidence that we have to live by faith, and how does that faith affect how we live our lives.
amazing and thought provoking. I have been having a really difficult time processing my grandparents’ deaths and not only has this book helped me with their passing, but also my ideas of an afterlife and dealing with my own mortality. This truly isn’t a religious book by any stretch of means, but it has oddly enough helped reinvigorate my spiritual life as I had become skeptical and cynical in the last few years. Truly amazing amount of work and research went into this!
A thought provoking book for sure. A controversial topic researched in a very scientific way that leaves the reader the ability to make an informed personal conclusion. The authors research is very thorough, objective, and if we are lucky lifts the curtain on wonderful possibilities for the mind. I just hope, if survival of the mind after death is true, that animal minds are blessed with the same type of persistence after death. That would be icing on the cake.
