Awsome, but has some flaws. I love this book, I love all of the Warriors books, but I cannot possibly give it 5 stars. One, because I was really hoping for Rootspring and Bristlefrost to become a thing, and then they just killed Bristlefrost. I mean like, why cause Rootspring all that unneeded pain and suffering? But, although I don’t think Bristlefrost should have died, this is a truly marvelous book.

AWESOME book!!! 😃😄. Overall a 10/10, keeps up the awesome work Erins!! :) This time I made a clan name and backstory instead of an OC! I hope that that’s ok with you guys! (FireClan’s territory is like ThunderClans, WillowClans land is like RiverClans land, but with a chunk of swamp in it, FeatherClan is like The Tribe Of Rushing Waters land, in the mountains, and DarkClans land is like ShadowClans land, but with caves.) ::DarkClan’s BACKSTORY:: Many, many seasons ago, all of the clans lived in peace, until FireClan, WillowClan, and FeatherClan all United to attack DarkClan and take their territory because of how well DarkClan was thriving. It was a massacre. DarkClan stood no chance, and the three clans won and overtook DarkClans territory. But DarkClans deputy, healers, 6 warriors, and a single kit managed to escape without being noticed. The remains of DarkClan lived on the outskirts of their old territory, healing, getting stronger, growing, and constantly blind with rage. One night, under the cover of darkness, they split up into 3 different groups, sending one to FeatherClan, one to WillowClan, and one to FireClan. Once in position, each group silently slit all 3 clans’s leaders throats and hid. Once morning, the clans awoke to their dead leaders and went into turmoil and grief. Then, the DarkClan groups attacked, leaving only the deputy, all the kits, 3 warriors, all of the healers, and 2 queens because they didn’t want to destroy all of the clans entirely. Once the job was finished the groups met up at the Twin Trees and then went back to the remains of DarkClan that they left behind to gaurd the makeshift camp. Once told to good news, the rest of the clan moved back to their old territory and went to see the remains of their once beloved camp only to find it in absolute ruins, but they fortified and repaired their camp with time. Once the camp was finished, the clan agreed to a plan that would make their territory seem haunted. The plan was to kill anyone who entered their territory, but if it was a kit, they would just give it a terrible scare to make it run back to its camp. They executed this plan with perfect presision. After a couple of death and after a lot of grieving, the FireClan, WillowClan, and FeatherClan leaders met up with their deputy’s at the Twin Trees and agreed to ban any cat from entering the cave/pine forest, and to spread the word that it was haunted and filled with evil cats and infested with no-claws. (Two legs) Slowly over the seasons, each of the clans forgot about DarkClan, but still remembered the #1 rule. Satisfied, DarkClan went on and kept growing and thriving in peace. Until a couple of curious but fearless kits wandered into their camp… I hope y’all enjoyed! Once again, GREAT book and I just can’t wait for book 6! ✌️

Hello! Next chapter of Shadows! Also. SparkBreeze! Hey WeLcOmE bAcK!!! Chapter three Not much to my surprise, my mother’s rank was lowered to the lowest rank, and I was banished. Not too much later I found myself pregnant with Sprint’s kits. Soon I had three at my belly. Two she-kits and a tom. Skylark, Willow, and the tom was Lunar. Skylark was orange, Willow was white with orange flecks, and Lunar was gray and white. I snuggled my kits, praying to StarClan, hoping they would give me a sign. They grew in the three moons it took me to realize that the best thing I ever could do was find ThunderClan. So, with three; three almost four moon old kits plodding at my side, I trekked to their territory. Slowly I edged closer to the border. “Mama? Are you sure about this?” Little Skylark mewed. “Of course she’s sure!” Lunar nudged his sister, “She wouldn’t lead us towards danger, right Mama?” I looked down at my kit, and smiled. He was so confident that I knew exactly what I was doing, it cleared away some of my doubts. We walked closer. Suddenly, I saw a patrol. “GET DOWN!!” I hissed at my kits. I flinched as they padded over towards us. The patrol had two toms, a she-cat, and one apprentice. One tom, a long-haired gray, froze, “What is it GrayStripe?” The sandy she-cat asked. The tom, GrayStripe sniffed the air, “I think I smell rogues. That way.” He nodded towards the bush where my kits and I were hiding. “Want me to look GrayStripe?” The other tom said. “Go ahead AshFur.” AshFur crept closer to our bush, and I waited for his claws, but they didn’t come. AshFur gazed down at me and my kits. “It’s a she-cat and three kits.” He said finally. The apprentice walked closer, “Get back SorrelPaw!” The sandy she-cat snapped at her apprentice, “Sorry SandStorm…” Came the quiet reply. GrayStripe walked forward, “What are you doing in ThunderClan territory?!” He demanded. Willow looked up at him with big, innocent blue eyes, “Excuse me…but if you look down, we aren’t in the territory YET.” GrayStripe looked down and laughed, “You’re just outside the border.” Then his eyes narrowed at me, “You are still too close.” My kits hide in my fur, and I shook my head at him, “So…just because it’s your territory…you’re going to fight a she-cat with unweaned kits?” He looked at me firmly, “Get out away from our territory.” I shook my head, “I must speak with FireStar. He knows me.” GrayStripe eyed me suspiciously, “What is your name?” I raised my head, “I am Flame, daughter of Lilac of BloodClan.” AshFur flinched, “You’re a BloodClanner?” I shook my head, “I’m half BloodClan.” AshFur nodded, “And your kits?” I licked Skylark’s head, “Two thirds BloodClan. Their father is BloodClan.” AshFur nodded once more. By this time GrayStripe had returned, without FireStar. “He said he has never known any she-cat called Lilac, nor has heard ever heard of a she-cat called Flame.” My eyes grew with pain, “He…denied me…” SandStorm looked at me, “What do you mean?” She asked. I looked up at them, unable to contain my fury, “Take me to him. Then we will see if he yet denies me.” Yeah, yeah, I’m doing cLiFfHaNgErS! I’m TaKiNg ur JoB Ivy!!! 😂

Awesome book! But please write faster Erin! I'm dying!. WHAT TOOK HER SO LONG! I WAS ON THE VERGE OF ACTUAL DEATH! (😁 JK) This book was amazing! Absolutely love it!! Also, Appleshine and Woodsong are the cutest names ever! (Please make Beekit's warrior name Beetail and Beetlekit's Beetlefern!) Although I am infuriated by the cliffhanger, it had to be done to continue the series, 😔. By the way, could you make Stemleaf fall in love with Bristlefrost to make drama? 'Cause mama love drama! Also, could you please name Spotfur's kits Stemkit/nose, Applekit/cloud, and Flowerkit/tail? Those are so cute! Okay, sorry if this review is boring but I'd really like my input in the next book! Three more things; first, don't kill off Rootspring 'cause I'm a Bristle/Root forever, second, please give Mousewhisker, Bumblestripe, and Thriftear a mate, and third, please have Rootspring join Thunderclan so the series can continue in Bristlefrost's kits! Byeee! Go warrior cats! Peace out!

Finished it!. The book was pretty good but there were some things that made me rage. First of all, they just put the BLAME on poor Shadowsight! And then there was Mothwing who was a jerk. And the ending was a HUGE cliffhanger, which I did not like. But anyways I liked it! I recommend it but not to people who hate cliffhangers.

The Forest of Darkness. Absolutely loved this book! To see Graystripe, the last living cat from Firestar’s generation, still fighting for his beloved clans and still fighting for those he loves is amazing! Also to witness Ashfur’s crazy lust for Squirrelflight lead to his, once again, downfall is the greatest! I love the Warriors, and, even though I know Graystripe won’t live much longer which will break my heart, I absolutely thank y’all for these amazing and heart-wrenching books! I hope they continue to bless people for years to come. (Including myself!)

Lightspots braced her muscles, her tail flicking playfully, when Spiderfang suddenly pushed between the two of them. “Spiderfang!” Fircone cried out. “What are you two doing? Don’t you remember the rules? No-“ Fircone cut her off. “Spiderfang it’s a gathering, it’ll be fine.” Spiderfang glared at him for a moment before padding away. “Let the gathering begin!” Sunstar of WindClan yowled. “That’s my leader.” Lightspots whispered. Fircone nodded. “WindClan has had plenty of prey this greenleaf, and we have two new warriors: Orangefoot and Lightspots!” Lightspots puffed out her chest proudly as the cats yowled her and Orangefoot’s names. “ShadowClan has also brought new warriors this greenleaf.” Moonstar said her gaze bright. “Fircone, Spiderfang, Longclaw and Blackcloud.” Yowls sounded loud and clear throughout the clearing, Fircone and Spiderfang’s names being yowled the loudest. I can use my power for a better purpose than it was meant to have!” “It cursed Firkit.” Mossyleaf hissed. “Like it cursed me.” Silver stumbled backwards. “I saw that kit flop to the ground the same I do.” Mossyleaf growled. “And sometimes we both fall at the same time and see each other in our dreams.” Silver shook her head in pain. “You can’t control it.” Mossyleaf said. “Yes I can! I can control it plenty fine!” Mossyleaf’s gaze flashed. “It’s meant to curse and torture other cats, but not in this way.” She breathed. “Because your not using it to it’s real purpose it’s cursing other cats. If you don’t leave now then all of ShadowClan will be cursed.” Silver stared at her and backed up. “I can’t leave. Not now. I’m seeing a lot of repeating tropes. Okay. Before I start my review I would like to say that I’m not proud of things I have said in the past about the cover of Firestar’s Quest. Personally, I think the cover is well done. But what I didn’t like about it was the style it was done in. I feel like it looked better when it wasn’t done in the realistic style the new covers were done in. Was I a little bit unnecessarily negative in my review? Yes. But that doesn’t mean certain people here should lash out at me and say I shouldn’t be a part of this fanbase because I have an opinion you didn’t agree with. That’s just not okay. Back to the actual book I’m reviewing, I like how the new series is going. But as the books continue I grow bored of the “forbidden romance” that I keep seeing in these books. The authors are reusing the same storyline they have been using in previous books. I feel like the first three books in this series were very interesting and fun to read, with lots of plot twists and mystery. But once we found out who the imposter was, the authors lost their main conflict and I slowly lost interest. The book got less and less interesting in my opinion and I found it hard to pay attention. Im not sure if I want to read the next book because I didn’t really enjoy reading this one. I know a select few of you are probably going to bash me for this, but I’m fine with that. I’ll respect your opinion, something you didn’t do. I’m probably going to stop reading the books because of what I said about where the plot is going.

Amazing + OC update. Broken Code keeps getting better and better! I enjoyed reading about the Dark Forest because it will have a big impact on my OC’s fan fiction! I’m glad Bramblestar is officially back (though he’s not my favorite) and Willowshine’s death almost made me cry 😭. Lightningfur was separated from her brother as a kit because her mother was ThunderClan and her father was WindClan. She feels she needs to prove herself, making her become a Dark Forest Warrior as an apprentice Orange tabby she cat with blue eyes and lightning-shaped tabby markings

Berrybee is leader for a long time before Flashstar retires, becoming Flashclaw again. His head injury was too serious & he was forced to retire. His son is thrown into leadership too early & picks a deputy late. He chooses Sandtalon, a she-cat he’d been interested in a long time, as deputy. Berrystar mates her a year later & she has to temporarily retire for their kits. Silverflame is acting deputy in the meantime. Sandtalon has Berrystar’s kits, but one dies. Flykit, Hawkkit, Robinkit & Flashkit grow into healthy, playful kits though. Silverflame lets Sandtalon have her position back & she is deputy for a long time. Cedarlight decides to find a mate. She falls desperately in love with Shadoweye, a RiverClan tom, but he loves Hollyfeather. They mate & secretly have kits together. Cedarlight realized Shadoweye was Briarkit, Graykit, Amberkit & Pinekit’s father & tells her brother, Berrystar. He exiles Hollyfeather after her kits didn’t need milk anymore, keeping her kits. She goes to RiverClan & Shadoweye begs to the new leader Clawstar to let her stay. He exiles Shadoweye so he & Hollyfeather go far away from Clan territory. Sorrelsun complains to Berrystar about exiling her daughter. He says she disobeyed the code & his cousin stops complaining. Owlpaw & Hedgepaw are apprenticed & Silverflame decides to retire. Pokémon unite is the best Pokémon game on mobile. I will always play it an never stop. Even if they give unnecessary buffs to Pokémon. Still good game. Absols in and that’s good. She loves her clan and every year she asks to visit her family’s grave or see her kit again. She is always rejected. Backstory: was mixed up in the murder of her mate. His name was Oak’s Strength. Blamed for his murder she was exiled. Her mom,dad, and brother had died when she was an fledgling. She always wears black feathers and flowers in her grief. She had a kit before her mate died. His name is Pepper. Pepper Role: Nestling Gender: Tom Appearance: is a red Tom with black stripes. Has handsome green eyes full of energy and love. Power: is a seer. Has yet to find a mentor. 🥀 RoseClan is open for submissions!. Before I get into my stupid fandom stuff, I just want to say that I LOVED the Broken Code. It is my second favorite series (Dawn of the Clans is 1st) and I honestly loved all three of the protagonists, though Bristlefrost and Rootspring were my favorites. I love mind control and the Dark Forest and Ashfur so of course I loved this arc! And even though I went into it knowing two of the biggest spoilers of the entire arc, it was still AWESOME to read. Also, Snowtuft needs — no, DESERVES — a super edition or even a novella. Change my mind. But now some information about RoseClan! RoseClan lives alongside WolfClan, and they are known for being pretentious and volatile. They are a prideful clan, with the motto “Beauty of petals, sharpness of thorns.” They were founded shortly after WolfClan, when a small group of WolfClan members wanted different things for their growing clan. While WolfClan was focused on preserving the ways of their former clans, the group of rebels wanted to improve on it. The two groups split off, and the rebels eventually founded RoseClan. The clan is extremely lenient when it comes to the origin of their warriors — they take in kittypets, rogues, loners, and even clan cats who’ve left their clan. All they ask from them is loyalty to their new life. Alongside the warrior code, RoseClan also follows the Rules of the Rose, created by the founding leader, Bumblestar, which are as follows: 1. If a cat wishes to join RoseClan, they will have to go on trial for a full moon before being accepted into the clan. Every day, the cat must go on at least two border patrols and one hunting patrol, attend or oversee one training session, as well as completing any tasks RoseClan gives them. At any time the cat on trial can forfeit, at the cost of joining the clan. If the cat proves their worth at the end of the moon, it is the leader’s decision to decide whether or not to accept the cat into the clan. During the ceremony to accept the cat as a full member of RoseClan, they will be given a clan name (if they didn’t have one already) and will have to swear an oath of loyalty to RoseClan. 2. The leader, deputy, or medicine cats CANNOT let personal feelings affect how they treat their clanmates. All cats must be treated equally. 3. A cat can only be judged by their actions and the reasons for them. If a cat has clearly shown cruelty or dishonor, then they should be punished according to how the leader sees fit. 4. All important decisions made in the clan must be discussed among the leader, deputy and medicine cats. If a further conclusion is needed, then all cats six moons or older will cast a vote for or against the decision. 5. A cat can take a mate from anywhere, but if the cat is outside of the clan, then the cat must join RoseClan. A medicine cat can also take a mate, and have kits, but the kits must be cared for by another cat (either by the mate of the medicine cat or by another queen) So if you want to submit cats for RoseClan, you can post your submissions in ANY Broken Code book. I will take all kinds of cats (including LGBTQ+ cats, tho those are rare OCs anyways) and if you submit a queen, you don’t have to make her mate or kits. I can do that for you, or keep her open for others to submit a mate + kits for her. I will have the allegiances in the next book of all the cats in RoseClan!
