Quick fun read. Loved the feisty lead female character….
Lead Me Into Temptation. Old west romance where Violet is a mail order bride who doesn’t intend on actually marrying. She’s answer the ad so she has the means to find her father. She ends up falling in love with the son of the man she was supposed to marry. Story was good but you never meet the man she was supposed to marry. It leads you to believe there is going to be major conflict with him then fails to conclude it. It causes the story to feel the story is unfinished.
Lead me into temptation. Very good read. Lively characters.
Lovely story. I enjoyed reading this historical novel. The characters were fantastic and the story was interesting and funny.
Not bad but not great.. I like the story is set in the (gold rush) San Francisco area. Also like Indians as part of the story line. Where I had trouble is the descriptive passages about her attraction to him - they began to be tedious after awhile. Once the story moved forward I enjoyed it more. I think more youthful readers will like this. I’m giving 3 stars because the story is unique (to me) and the characters are fairly well drawn.
