Yes, yes, YES! I needed this book in my life.. Yes, yes, YES! I needed this book in my life. Sarina Bowen is back again with Loverboy, book 2 in The Company standalone series. Gunner is all about his job and when it sends him to pose as a barista, things couldn’t get worse... except they did when he ends up in Posy’s pie shop. Posy is a blast from the past and things didn’t end on the best of terms. But Gunner is persistent and he has to keep Posy safe. Posy just wants her shop to succeed and when she’s left in need of a barista, Gunner looks like her only option. Things keep turning from bad to worse and when Posy is left in danger she’s not sure who to trust. This is a well written book that had me turning pages until the end. One Click this gem!

Two day read!. Really loved everything about this book! I couldn’t put it down.

Thrilling, Romantic Fun. Oops, she did it again! Ok, that’s just silly but it’s ultimately true. Sarina has done it again...a beautifully written story with incredible characters that makes it so easy to escape. And I don’t know about you, but 2020 unfortunately is something I need to escape from occasionally. Gunnar is the focus of this particular installment of The Company series book Loverboy. Gunnar is the college roommate, best friend and business partner to Company owner Max Bayer. And he’s been requested to return from the west coast to New York to flesh out the identity of a super secret killer. Gunnar is a great character. I love his witty banter and his back and forth with Posy...a blast from his past and now coffee shop owner and temporary boss. Sparks fly between these two...in the best possible way. Can’t wait to continue on with this series. Hopefully we get a glimpse of the super secretive Max in the next release.

A wonderful addition to the series. Sarina Bowen has a gift for writing strong female leads and caring heroes who are surprised when they find themselves falling in love, but completely ready to fight for their future happiness once they come to that realization. Posy and Gunner are good people and it was easy to care about them and get pulled in to the story - humor, emotions, sexy-times, danger, and suspense - this book has it all!

Loved this sooo muchhhh!. Loveddddd!!! Gunnar. Who works for/with Max Bayer (Erik from moonlighter brother) comes to New York for a stealthy assignment. Little did he know it would be the crash and burn, the one that got away! Loved Posy! So much. She’s taken some emotional knocks from her ex husband. Confidence is a little shaky. But she’s set on making her pie shop the best ever. Looking for heat? Intrigue? Sweet? Flirty? Dander? This is the book for you! Highly Recommend PS: Cannot wait for Max’s book!

Charming and suspenseful!. I had an opportunity to listen to an early audio copy of Loverboy by Sarina Bowen, the second book in The Company series, and I truly enjoyed listening to it. Narrated by Joe Arden, Emma Wilder and Vanessa Edwin, this is a second chance romance with so many feels. Gunner and Posy have history but a lot has changed since they last saw each other. He is back to protect her and catch a criminal. Which is how he now finds himself working in her pie shop. Posy is likable and full of sass. Gunnar is charming and sexy and knows nothing about working in a pie shop. I loved listening to them fall. The story was suspenseful and charming and had me intrigued from start to finish. Happy reading!

Love this series!. I loved this romcom/suspense storyline. Gunnar and Posy’s chemistry is sizzling and their banter hilarious. It’s definitely a great addition to this series. Narration by Joe Arden, Emma Wilder and Vanessa Edwin was fantastic!

eReader on 🔥.... Loverboy is a fab read!. eReader on fire!!! Loverboy by Sarina Bowen was a 5 star read for me! Why? Immediate re-read and a highlight of nearly the whole book. Loverboy is another book in The Company series that features favorite characters from Ms Bowen’s other books. It’s got dual POV, a HEA, no cliffhangers, terrific characters, and a unique storyline. Gunnar is an undercover barista who really needs to up his game to prove to Posey that he’s worthy of working in her pie shop. They’ve got history and their chemistry after their reconnection is instantly off the charts. Posey’s barely making it, helping her sister, all while trying to ignore the betrayal by her father years ago. ... and Gunnar’s trying to solve an international cyber case while keeping Posey safe and her shop open. Loverboy is sweet, fun with a capital F, suspenseful, romantic, heartwarming, sassy, witty and absolutely fabulous! The writing is tight and dialogue is witty. Download Loverboy now ... and if you haven’t read anything by Ms. Bowen, prepare to download the rest of her books! I received an ARC and am voluntarily (and very happily) leaving my honest review!

Great read! I really enjoyed both the plot and the characters.. Great book! Sarina only writes great books. This is one more book that reads fast because it is so exciting. I enjoyed all the twists and turns. Keep them coming!

A fantastic addition to The Company series!. 4.5 STARS NO SPOILERS! Loverboy, the second standalone in The Company series, was funny, sexy, and swoon-worthy with a dash of suspense sprinkled throughout. The storyline was unique, entertaining, and kept me on my toes. The characters were wonderful and I couldn’t help but fall madly in love with them. I really enjoyed Gunnar and Posy’s story and was very happy with the outcome. Loverboy was a fantastic addition to The Company series, and I can’t wait to see what Sarina Bowen has in store for Max Bayer in Ladykiller!

so good!. This book took me a little bit to get into it but once I hit about 30%, I couldn’t stop reading. It’s not often I actually fall asleep on my kindle and wake up not knowing what happened but that’s how my night went with Loverboy.... I have been obsessed with Sarina Bowen since I binged all of her series in about six months and I have come to the conclusion that there’s absolutely nothing that she can’t do. Sports? Check. M/M? Check. Small-town? Check. And now she’s absolutely nailed suspense. I love that there’s such a mystery in the background of this story and I wasn’t able to guess any of it. I love this series and I really can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen next!!

Loverboy. Loverboy by Sarina Bowen Gunnar and Posy are a welcome addition to The Company with their second chance romance. As much as he loathes New York, Gunnar returns for the sole purpose of completing a job. Unbeknownst to him, the job he’ll need to take undercover is that of a barista. Problem? He hates coffee but even that takes a backseat to his new boss: Posy, of Posy’s Pie Shop. They’d met many moons ago as bartenders and had undeniable chemistry way back when. That’s not abated for either of them though both are obviously cautious for reasons of their own. This book packs a punch in that it delivers suspense, humor, and a hefty dose of sexy. I felt that the way Gunnar and Posy reconnected and fell in love was so right and true. Not without obstacles and hesitation, but right for them. I enjoyed the characters and the story and I especially enjoyed that I couldn’t figure out the suspenseful part of things for myself! Although this is the second book in Bowen’s, The Company series but can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. *I voluntarily read an early copy of this book. **Reviewed by Melinda for Joandisalovebooks Blog.

Sarina Bowen does it again. Loving this spin off series and how the stories are linked. The reappearance of Xian Smith and development of Max Baxter’s character is great. Would love to read Max and Scout when it’s published and a Duff spin off maybe crossover with the Bombshells?

Fantastic !. I really loved the development of the relationship between Posy and Gunner. Not Insta love which is good and much more realistic. It’s the second in the series and I hope there are more to come!

Amazing romantic suspense!. Loverboy is an amazing romantic suspense story! The thrill of the suspense part had my attention and I really loved the connection between the characters Gunnar and Posy. Gunnar may be posing as a barista at Posy’s pie shop,but as the story progresses, truths, secrets and heart pounding excitement made this a book I couldn’t put down. Posy has incredible talent at creating mouthwatering pies and pastries and having Gunnar return after so many years have passed, these two cant seem to resist the sizzling chemistry they have. I thought Posy was adorable and Gunnar was this larger than life man, who is incredibly protective of those close to him. Ms Bowen has written a fantastic entertaining story with wonderful characters and an intriguing storyline! I don’t want to say too much just that this book should be high on your tbr list.
