Abby Does It Again. Abby Jiminez’s third novel is just as compelling, or perhaps even more so, than her first two - both of which were phenomenal. The characters are real and relatable. Abby has a way of getting you into their heads and able to sympathize with their thoughts. You are fully along for their ride, and what a wonderful roller-coaster it is! Owning this book on only one media version is not enough.

Abby did it again!. In typical Abby fashion, you will be laughing out loud one minute and sobbing the next. Waiting a year for the next heartbreak is brutal punishment.

Abby has done it again!. Abby has done it again. Another book I couldn’t put down, and a book that had me guessing where she was taking it. As someone who comes from families similar to the ones of Vanessa and Adrian, I am so happy that she talked about all of the resources out there, and though fictional it brings in a connection I could relate to. I will definitely read this again, and cannot wait till next spring for her next book!

Loved this book!. Abby Jimenez is one of my favorite writers and this book was funny and sweet while tackling serious issues like grief, addiction, loss and acceptance. I laughed out loud and cried in equal measures.

Great Read. Really good book!! Loved both of the main characters. Loved the relaxed dialogue between them. I had an Aunt die of this disease. It was nice to read about this from the main characters POV.

Couldn’t put it down!. I’ve read many many books (at least one a month) and this is the first time I’ve been compelled to write a review. This book took me through a roller coaster of emotions. It was such a great read! Not only did the story evolve at a great pace, I felt that it taught me something: to not dwell on the negative, and focus on the positive. Life is too short to be worried all the time ;)

Amazing book, TOTALLY OBSESSED. I was hooked since the beginning and the end was not expected at all. I loved how the author was able to grasp my attention throughout the whole book and how I actually got sad when I finished it. Definitely a must read!

Loved every word. I rarely read romance novels anymore. They are all too predictable and never keep my attention. Not this one. I laughed and cried both sad and happy tears. Perfect.

Awful. Dull slow predictable uninteresting

Bawling like a baby. Yet again, Abby weaves a story together that makes me bawl like a baby. The underlying messages and themes are moving, but the journey of the characters left me turning pages while wiping away the tears.

Light Read. It was a fun and easy read. The characters are built out nicely. What bothered me though were the unrealistic timelines. I couldn’t keep up. The baby was born 3 weeks ago, but she’s had her for “weeks”? Also, “chuckled” and “snorted” are in almost every other paragraph. It was annoying and distracting.

Each book gets better and better!. I’ve never wanted to reread a book in my life until I read Abby’s. Each novel gets better and better. Can’t wait for the next three!

Must read. I could not put this book down. I was sobbing but it was really good cry. Perfect pick me up. I was bit depressed from this never ending pandemic. Now I am making my own bucket list. Thanks Vanessa and Abby! (Also reading the books in backwards order. Abby is a fantastic writer.)

Fun rom com!. What a great book! Vanessa is a free spirited travel blogger watching her sister’s infant baby Grace while Adrian is a strait laced controlled lawyer. After a hellish night of the baby crying uncontrollably, Adrian helps Vanessa and sparks instantly fly. They develop a friendship, based on the fact Vanessa says she doesn’t date (thinking she will develop ALS). But of course, feelings develop. Loved the back and forth showing their feelings while “thinking” the other doesn’t reciprocate those feelings. Loved the talk of medical chronic illnesses and how to affects not only the life of the person with it, but everyone around them. Overall loved 4.5/5⭐️
