If I could give it zero stars. I would. I love trashy smut, but this was so difficult to read. The sentences were poorly structured. The author kept adding new bits of world building almost constantly, kind of violating the rules of fantasy genre
Love. Love love love!!! Keeps you on the edge of your seat!! Cannot wait to continue this series.
The Warlord. I thought there could be no better Gena book than last years The Darkest King... she has truly outdone herself! I laughed and cried, and laughed and cried some more! Truly outstanding!! I’ve fallen in love with her characters! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Long time coming. Gena showalter finally delivers! Her last 2 books we’re ok 2/5, this book is all 5!

If you thought her other books were hot, prepare to be burned. You’ll tingle, burn and cry tears of sadness and joy as we follow Roc and Taliyah as they fight each other and themselves. I can’t wait for the next book!
