Fun to Read. Great characters and plot twists
Fun love story. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone who loves a fun steamy romance. Really loved all the characters.
A surprisingly intriguing book. Really enjoyed this book. A very unique story and a very different story line from your typical Victorian romance. Spying, mystery, espionage, romance, murder, and a HEA.
A Counterfeit Heart. Of the three stories in this series, this was my favorite. The storyline, with its sublimely strong yet vulnerable male and female leads, grabbed me immediately. The book had it all—humor, history, romance (so much sexual tension) and intrigue. As with the other books I’ve read, there are errors, which detract from the overall readability. Please hire a proofreader. Especially when paying for a book, a reader shouldn’t have to contend with errors. That said, I can’t help but be drawn in by K C Bateman’s beautifully descriptive and smart writing style.
