Another Winner From Deborah Coonts. Deborah Coonts has another winner on her hands with “90 Days to Score” and I couldn’t be happier. I was sorry to see her “Lucky O’Toole” series end, so this is a balm to my reader’s heart. Coonts writes great characters and creates interesting mysteries. I always enjoy them. But what I enjoy even more is her writing style. She has a way of using words that always amazes me. She paints these incredible word pictures, and then populates them with all manner of characters. In this new series, we are introduced to Brinda Rose, who is a Jersey girl living in the midst of football country in Texas. When her husband is murdered she finds herself waking up to the fact that he wasn’t the man she thought he was, and that in order to prove she wasn’t the one who killed him she must dig deeper into the viper pit of society she lives amongst and the business of football that would prefer Brinda, as the “outsider,” leave to the good old boys. There are lots of twists and turns, and several revelations that you don’t see coming. I really enjoyed this new series and hope that we’ll be seeing more of Brinda and the gang. Highly recommended.

Loved It. I have been a fan of the Lucky O’Toole series, but I think Belinda Rose is the best yet. Loved learning about Texas wealth, society, and football. The mystery plot was well crafted and the suspects were numerous. Hope ther are more adventures of Belinda Rose to come.
