Baggage. I love to read about Alaska. Real or imaginary, it’s that rugged, pioneer romantic destination. Right now for a lot of us this all sounds pretty good. This is a romantic tale with some hefty baggage. It’s about how we perceive ourselves vs how everyone else does. Here characters have chosen their destiny because of their past. Fate steps in and gives them a second chance. I will say that this is not a stand alone book. I think it’s best to read the first book . Read about diamond creek. Never a better time than now to catch up on some happy ever afters. Jh Croix is a really good writer, she puts her heart and soul into all her stories. I highly recommend this book. Lisa.

Good book. This was a quick read but a good one. It was jammed with drama, steam and overall just a fun story to read. It was well written with the banter and it was easy to read and follow. First time with this author but not the last! I would recommend this book!

The pilot and the barista. Elias is recovering from a minor plane crash. Though, I’m not sure how good of a pilot he is since this is his second crash, the first ending his Air Force career. He’s grumpy and gruff but has a Jones for Cammi and her coffee. Cammi has a Jones on Elias. Enjoyable read, with a familiar cast of characters, some sizzle and a bit of humor. Recommend.

She’s got some deep issues!. 4.5 Stars  This is book 2 in the Dare With Me series and it features Elias and Cammi. He’s been buying coffee from her coffee truck for years. They’ve both been put through the ringer in past relationships and hers is more recent than his. Their chemistry is explosive but she’s got major trust issues that make her relationship-shy. He’s definitely got his work cut out for him. This story line is fantastic! I love the different story line threads that run through for each main character separately and together. I always look forward to revisiting the considerable amount of characters and many from other series as well.

Loved it.. Loved the characters. Steady build to the hot and steamy parts. Nice HEA. ENJOYED IT COMPLETELY.

Evers and Afters. 3 1/2 Stars A sweet slow paced romance between bright and perky coffee spot owner Cammi, and no nonsense pilot Elias. Cammi’s sweet personality was intact despite a bitter betrayal from her ex. Her friendship with her daily customer Elias had been going on for years before growing into into something more. A bit of drama with both of their exes. Kudos to the author in creating an honest couple that were up front and honest with each other, minimizing the drama that could have been drawn out and frustrating. I appreciated the zero cheating and satisfying HEA! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book via Bad Boy Updates.

It all started with the best cup of coffee a man could ask for...... I’ve been waiting for Elias and Cammi’s story. J.H. Croix knocks it out of the park with another Alaskan Hottie.... Their slow burn has lasted years. When they finally give into their feelings and the passion they both share for each other it’s down right combustible! “I voluntarily received this arc book for an honest review”

Ever After. Loved the characters. Portrayed liked real life people with problems who are in love, but didn’t let life stop them from being happy.

Cute, easy read!. Cute, easy read. Very well written with sweet characters and a good story line. Not much action and some things repeated a lot. Also lots of characters made it a but chaotic.

Finished. I literally just love this J.H. Croix books in general this is the first one I read and I fell in love with it!!

Excellent. I have been trying to get back into reading books like I did when I was in school but nothing peaked my interest, until I came across this book. I didn’t realize it was the second book in the series so I accidentally skipped over book 1. I will definitely be reading more of your books

Entertaining. I loved how the author introduces the characters in this story. I could feel their attraction for each other immediately but neither seemed to clue into the fact that they had feelings for each other. That was the hook for me. I enjoyed reading this book as the story progressed. Both characters were very likable. Their journey towards a relationship was entertaining. Great story. I requested a copy of this book so I could provide an honest review.

Elias and Cammi. I loved the story of Elias and Cammi in Ever & Afters. J.H. Croix writes beautifully and creates truly wonderful characters in Ever & Afters. Elias has been interested in Cammi for years but hasn’t attempted to asked her out because of he feels she needs someone better than him. Cammi has been lied to in a past relationship and is afraid to trust again. I love a romantic story where learn to trust and love each other. Evers & Afters. This sexy steamy quick read is about Cammie and Elias. Both characters have something they are ashamed to have anyone find out. Cammie owns Red Truck Coffee and serves the best coffee in Alaska. She also works as a part time message therapist for income during the winter when her coffee truck is not open for business. Elias is a pilot and works for one of his best friends at their family adventure resort in Alaska. He was in a plane crash with Flynn. He broke his ankle and had a gash in his side from a piece of metal. The storyline was well written with an HEA ending and can be read as a standalone even though it is part of a series. The characters are wonderful and their chemistry is explosive.

Loved it!!. I have to say this again… I absolutely LOVE J. H. Croix’ writing style! Always beautifully written, full of realistic characters and storylines that are so engaging that you cannot put the book down! The love scenes between Elias and Cammi were scorching hot. The storyline was unpredictable and kept you guessing as to what was to happen next. Loved it! Can’t wait for the next book in this series! Evers & Afters. “She’d pitched a tent in every corner of my thoughts whether I was awake or asleep.” ⁣ Evers & Afters is a sexy and sweet small town opposites attract romance. ⁣ Elias and Cammi have been getting to know each other over coffee, early in the morning. After Elias suffers a plane crash, Cammi continues to bring Elias his morning coffees in the hospital. They both have feelings for each other but due to past experiences, they are afraid to move forward and give love a chance. ⁣ Elisa and Cammi's story is a natural slow burn that is worth the wait that once they come together the sparks fly. Their interactions leading up to them connecting physically were endearing and made their story so much more. The side characters played a large part in this story which makes me interested to get their stories.

Bright future ahead!. Finally we have Cammi’s story! Couldn’t find a better guy for her than Elias! Surprise visits from their exes force them to come face to face their past. It is always nice also to see characters from previous books popping up for a few lines or a more important role. If you enjoyed JH Croix’s previous work, you will love this one.
