Great Read!!. This book is hilarious!! The dynamic between all the characters were fantastic!!

Great Book. I just loved this book. It was funny , suspenseful, it had heroes and so much more. The sex scene we’re 🔥🔥 to to bad but could of been a little 🔥‘ter . But over all I loved it and all the characters. I look forward to reading the next book.

Good book, but…. The book has a good story & lovable character. Obviously though, no one proofread or edited it. Some parts I had to slow way down & a few I even had to reread. If it weren’t for that, I would gladly read the rest of the books in the series. I just can’t justify spending money on a book that is somewhat difficult to read.

Betrothed to the Beast. A good story with good character development. Sorely needs a good proofreader. There are grammatical errors and the punctuation is abysmal. Otherwise, a really enjoyable read.

Strong characters. I love all the main and side characters. One of my favorite highlander books.

Surprisingly spicy. So, this book I just “accidentally” picked up while reading on English historical romance and what a way to be introduced into another Era of historical romance! This book just kept getting better and better- definite page turner. The characters are so realistic and hilarious, esp. the men. Very witty and as far as romance goes- utterly passionate. This is a wonderful upcoming author that I will be on the lookout for!

Words.. I liked the story a lot it had twists and turns. It is funny and sweet. My problem is how do you pronounce some of those names? It drives me mad not to know! Could authors not just have a page where they spell out the hard names phonetically? It would be much appreciated. With all that it’s still a good book.

Learn to edit!. Could have been a good story, but the lack of editing made it horrible to read.

Loved it!. I LOVED this book! I don’t know why, but I ended up reading this book with a Scottish accent the entire time ! Lol Very well written. The characters were all amazing and the author did and excellent job in making them so real! Can’t wait to read Brodies and Orlas story next!

I enjoyed it.. It was a good book. I had to get to the way they talked but once I did I was able to understand better. I will definitely keep reading what this author writes.

Good story...BAD grammar.. Run on sentences and poor use of punctuation made this difficult to read. The only thing that kept me going was the enjoyable storyline. The main characters were decently fleshed out, but the peripheral characters lacked definition. A good editor would make spending money on this book worth it.

Best book I’ve read in a long time. I really enjoyed this book! I love the couples, the background characters and stories, the historical theme and I had the perfect amount of spice and intrigue. By the time I got to the third chapter I’ve decided to buy the whole series. Can’t wait for the other stories!

Surprisingly Mysterious and Hilarious. God! i love me a highlander romance novel, they’re usually funny but nothing like this! I just kept laughing and gushing at the fluff. On the spice level i’ll give it 2/5 but the whole story made up for it honestly didn’t even miss the smut. I love that we got an Epilogue as well, that’s what i been missing in all these books. I’m glad to know how the characters are doing in the end 😂🤭

A fine story in desperate need of an editor. It’s a fine story rife with distracting grammatical errors, plot continuity issues and inconsistently applied translations of non-English language words, that make for difficult reading of a genre that should be a breezy read.

Fun. Not historically correct so if that is what you want this is not for you. Loved the characters and storyline. Fun, cute quick read. He bellows and she’s got a sharp tongue… what’s not to love!

Intriguing Read!. Loved the engaging characters and their distinct personalities. This book keeps the reader totally on the edge of their seat with delightful twists and turns in the story. Excellent book!

Editor wanted. This author should learn how to structure a sentence and use punctuation. Or get a decent editor. Good thing it was free.

Very good. This is a new author to me and it will not be the last. Beiste and Amelia are great characters and a pleasure to read about. The author may not of kept to a strict Highlander dialect but it truly did not take away from the story. I have the next book already in my kindle.

Romance with a plot. If you are looking for a historical romance with a plot and twists look no further. A fun read. It reminded me of The Bride by Julie Garwood

Proofread. The characters and storyline were wonderful, but the lack of punctuation distracted me and kept me from giving this story 5 stars. There were too many run-on sentences and inappropriate punctuation. Please fire your proofreader.

Well worth a read. Love this series of books. I stumbled on them and then couldn’t put them down. Love the storyline’s portray strong women.

Great story but editing annoying. I really enjoyed this book. The author made me fall in love with the characters. My only bug bear was the punctuation - sentences had commas in the middle of them, no commas when they were needed, sentences that should have been broken into 5, etc. If you can read past those, then it’s a great read.

Disappointing - didn’t finish. Synopsis sounded good but book didn’t deliver. Lacked depth. Punctuation is appalling

It was a good read.. Too short a tale. Well thought out story line.

Betrothed to the Beast. I enjoyed the story line and the characters. However, as a teacher, but more as a observer of writing in general, you need to find better editors. The use or lacking of use of commas made the reading choppy and difficult to properly understand the text. Many sentences were run-on throughout the book. It would emphasize the story more to add more punctuation in some areas to give the reader a chance to “catch their breath” in reading. This would mean either putting in “and” or commas, and breaking sentences up into two sentences. It seems that the author has written many books. I’m reluctant to finish this series but might try some of the other series. Writing is a challenging task at the best of times but imagination is a writer’s friend. Constructive criticism is used to make something better and not of the author necessarily. I have often thought that I should have become an editor but I used editing in my teaching. Keep writing, because authors can take readers to places and times that we may never go.
