Teddy Fay hedges his bets in the latest thriller from #1 New York Times-bestselling author Stuart Woods.
When Peter Barrington and Ben Bachetti come under threat while working at a film festival abroad, Teddy Fay is lured to the glittering city of Macau to resolve the problem. He'll soon come to find that world of posh casinos, luxurious developments, and boundless wealth has a dark underbelly of crime and political intrigue . . . and that the biggest players behind the scenes may be far closer to home than anticipated. With international deals and private vendettas at stake, the villains behind the plot aren't about to let Teddy stand in their way. What they don't know is that this seemingly harmless film producer has more than a few tricks up his sleeve.

So disappointed. I am a huge Stuart Woods fan, but thereâs no way he wrote this book. It is so sloppy and badly written. I hope he starts writing on his own again.
Jackpot. Having Read almost all of Stuart Woods books I canât believe he wrote this. It was a mess.
Jackpot. If Stuart Woods wrote a shred of this book Iâd be amazed. Totally not his writing style, maybe heâs been reduced to licensing his characterâs names. As a stand alone itâs not all that bad a novel, but donât expect any semblance to his other works.
Jackpot. I donât think Stuart Woods came anywhere near this book. Not the Teddy Fay character Woods created. The reason Woodsâ character are authentic is based on the authorâs experience and understandingâŠthis effort has neither. I know we are getting old, but if continued writing is not in you, please stop putting your name on lessor works.
Disappointing. Cardboard characters and jumbled plot.
Dreadful. Plotless nonsense.
Unfortunate. Read all of Mr. Barringtonâs books. And thatâs a bunch. This one however just does not make the cut. Sloppy confusing writing and plot. Hopefully the next one will Bring back the old Mr. Woods.
Never Dissapoints. Stone Barrington and Stuart Woods deliver again
Jackpot. Stuart Woods need to write by himself. This book was boring and difficult to finish. Very little excitement and way to many characters who were difficult to follow.
Just Bad. I have read every Stuart Woods books and while over time the plots have become similar, the books are still fun reads. However, this book could not hold my interest after five chapters. Really disliked the writing style and found nothing to like about the book.
GREAT summer read!!. Always a GREAT summer read! I look forward to Stuartâs work every time a nĂ©e book drops. I feel lucky that at the beginning of my vacation he always drops a fantastic book!!
Jackpot. this is the most boring book ever written by Stuart .
Jackpot. Worst book I have ever TRIED TO READ. Quit after 100 pages. Terrible. Not Stuart Woods at all.
Cumbersome. I miss Stuartâs dialogue. This was hard to finish.
Tdglo. What a piece of crap! Total garbage!
Jackpot. I completed it just waiting to see if it got any better. It didnât, Ghost Writer???
Jackpot. Very poorly written. I couldnât finish the book and seriously doubt Stuart Woods any part of this disaster.
Boring. This was the most boring Stewart Woods book Iâve ever read and I have read them all. Really disappointing
Stuart please loose this Bryon Querter something. Why destroy Teddy Fay image after so many entertaining adventures
Confusing and disoriented. Possibly the worse thing written by this author. Very fractured, disjointed and confusing. I advise spend your money elsewhere. Very disappointing
Terrible. This could be written by a fifth grader. Stuart Woods should be ashamed to put his name on something like this. Who edited this tripe? Donât waste your time. Itâs impossible to read more than a couple of chapters. Shame on them.
Jackpot. It was like watching a movie. You never forgot whose who.
Jackpot. I have read all Stuart Woods books. This book is awful. Confusing. Plotless. Totally out if character for Teddy Faye and the Stone Barrington theme. Please fire this terrible sub-writer. Your fans feel cheated in paying for this albatross.
Awful book. This is so far the worst book ever written with Stuart Woodsâ name on it. This new co-author is awful. The book has no rhythm, the story is poorly told and makes little sense. I wonât ever read a book with these two as authors in a series I have loved up to now.

Very disappointing. This new âco-writerâ is a disaster! This is not Stuart Woods style at all. This not How Teddy Fay works or acts. The whole thing was frustratingly alien.
Jackpot. This is a terrible book. Extremely hard to figure out what theyâre talking about. Not like a Teddy Fay book, at all. Itâs time to retire the series. I wonât be buying anymore books from this series. And, why a co-author, terrible idea. Stuart Woods has told me he doesnât care what readers think, and friends on Facebook have told me that too.
A disappointment. Iâve read voraciously for many years. In that time I stopped reading a book partway through only three or four times; I just added âJackpotâ to that list. This book doesnât seem to have had an editor involved. It didnât hold my interest. I expected more from something with Stuart Woodsâ name attached.
